yes lets hope so . Last night has got me really worried about the rain, even in the gara with a joypad i could keep up at least a slow pace, but last night at nurn, well it was as if something was not right, i drove as if i had an egg under the gas pedal, but just was like driving on ice. I know Karsten had a similar problem, and i am hoping that it was just Nurn that was the cause, as i have seen you rip it up in the lexus at other tracks , so i am thinking it is just me . really dont know but it was as karsten said a nightmare

I will do a test later with the lexus when I see you guys online in the same conditions as yesterday and see what i get

I think lexus has the most torque so it will be the hardest to drive in the rain

The series is based on real life, it's now spring so hopefully there won't be any rain anyway. S1 was in the winter and we didn't really have a full rain session.

I don't know but I actually like it. IRL rain can also 🤬 everything up quite a bit.

I think driving in the wet is fun up to a point. It shows car control and the car advantages are less noticable. The rain is very unrealistic in this game however once you get pass around 60%. In real life series don't race once it's gets wet enough.

maybe the bumps made i worse , its a bumpy track nurn , sometimes i was spinning round and i was only thinking about the gas pedal, hadnt even touched it yet lol

Yeah nurb gp on rain is worst than nordschleife for some rerason...

I'm new on the car but i felt it quite undriveable... I did had very wrong brake bias but when it got at 100% it was too much for the lexus

In any case we never had such extreme situations, and even if it was to happen i doubt we'll have more than such nightnarish races.

Think @SkengD is correct about the torque, was not easy to control on exits. The lack of throttle control was tried to save by steering wheel winding And a hundreds of a second lost in concentration will most likely put you in the gravel. Should have put heavy wets on from start and not waited to lap 14 But had a great time trying to save slides,
feels like that 20 laps learned me more about throttle control then full season 1.

And for the Fuji race great first 10 laps with @SkengD and @ozwheels. Sorry one more time for the miss in third corner lap 7. Maybe you will see my taillights disappear the straights some day But it's a hard work keeping up for that many laps.

It was the lighting that made last nights race difficult , I couldnt see entering many of the corners , maybe I need to adjust settings on my tv , not sure .

The final chicane you would get headlight reflection and that was a killer too, I didnt like wet driving in gt5 much but it feels a lot easier in gt6

Rosko was doing the same lap times as me too in the race and the brz is a torquey car

What are good lap time for fuji gt? I feel i need LOTS of training with this car; i do not feel confident in it at all yet.

I feel i open throttle a bit too soon or too late and i lose lots of time that way...

I want to have a good start of season, ekke is looking wonderfully fast and i do not want to drag behind him lol

In any case i managed to be in front of logic so i can be a bit more confident (/jk mate)

Sken is giving master classes at £10 per lap, well worth it i reckon.

I was having no fun whatsoever. Just touching the throttle sent me sideways all the time. I was wishing I had that rotary engine every lap last night. I was fine up Until about 70% rain. I really don't like the way they implemented grip in the rain. It's just so unrealistic. It's like the ice. Stupid....

I'm not sure exactly how the weather setting works but I always use fixed wether and match the surface water to the weather % and it doesn't change.

How long of a race are you trying to have in terms of time?

Normally total race time is 1hour 30 minutes including pitstops

In a 33 lap race i got a lap time average close to 1.40. Best time was low 1.39 and the slowest at the end of second set of tires was around 1.41.
