Chassis rigidity seems to make more of an impact on cars behaviour now as well. Unfortunately, once added you can't remove it, so if you don't like it with it installed, new car time!
Lucky me, I never installed this on any of my cars :)

I raced last night in the new GSCC with Team Lightning in the Bottle. I had tested extensively . I did a check it out run in the afternoon checking mainly checking straight line speed, pit entry and exit. I DID NOT PRESS THE CAR IN THE INFIELD. The race started off we went. I turned in to the International Hairpin and the car smartly rotated in the direction of turn...and kept on rotating until I shot across the grass. HUH ?. The high speed kink was great....then IT DID IT AGAIN as I turned into the next right hander..this time I caught it. Gents the last upgrade had an update of car physics. If your cars were tuned before the upgrade they MAY have been UNTUNED OR RETUNED according to the new rules of Physics . The thing I REALLY HATE is cars doing unexpected
Unpleasant things. It was a very long night. At first I thought maybe I loaded the wrong set up. Nope. After the race the main topic of discussion other than the normal GRs was how most setups had gone to the warm place in a basket.

Redo/check your setups.

I think it is time to look into adding camber
Maybe i can get back what i lost and then some who knows

There that's my reason for posting, sorry for not stating that I was replying to a post 8 posts up stiggy.

Updating GT6 should be done by then. Got the car a month ago, hopefully it doesn't explode when I start it.
Any update on an arrival time? I have the other two in a lobby with me now. If you can get here in a few minutes then we will wait, if it's going to be a little longer, I will start these two and do you afterwards.

Oh, I've been sitting at the laptop waiting for a message that you opened the lobby. I'll be in in a minute.

Car Regulations

We can finally announce some official specs for the cars. We have been busy testing, and had two physics changes in the middle of the testing, hence why it has taken us so long to get them done. So thanks for your patience.

You can find the new specs here. A lot of the cars have had a minor tweak to the previous list of specs, so please check and update your cars. On the spec sheet, you will see that BHP and power limit % have a +/- beside them. This is due to an individual's ballast position. The cars have been specced using their PP. The BHP value is just to check that people have the correct parts installed on their cars. If your ballast position gains you a PP, you must remove some power. If your ballast position looses you a PP, you may add some power to recover it.

Following the two pre-season tests, we will give one final review of the cars specs before the season starts. But we are fairly confident we have them sorted.

Car Choices
As the specs of the cars have changed, I will re-open car choice to those that have already picked.

  1. @Tk_Hansen
  2. @merlinrichards
  3. @Glenalz81
  4. @RS__96__oO
The remaining car choices will be in the following order:

  1. @gtpcaine
  2. @Mini Stiggy
  3. @rclark83
  4. @PASM
  5. @rcb929
  6. @VELOCI_2NR
  7. @Leoni Dias
  8. @DCWANTCASH
  9. @gtp_Tenderly
  10. @dangerzone641
AM drivers will then pair up with a PRO. Currently, we have 1 more AM than PRO. I am going to keep accepting signups, so with any luck we will be able to fill those gaps up. However, if anyone ends up as a solo driver, they will score 1.5x points in the teams championship to try and keep them in contention. Normal points will be awarded in their class standings.

Calendar Changes
With the addition of the Red Bull ring in the last update, we have decided to add this to the calendar for the season. It will be round 9 of the championship, following Monza and preceding Nurburgring. The full calendar can be viewed here.

Regulation Changes
There have also been a few minor regulation changes. These include a slight alteration to the points system and the PP penalties, as well as the DC procedure. The rules and regulations can be viewed here. Some more info, specific to this series can be found here. Please make sure you read through them both and familiarise yourselves with them. We won't accept any excuse for not being aware of a rule.

On a side note, I just want to say thanks for being patient guys. Things have been a little chaotic the last few days, with Mike having to pull out, the new update, and the news that myself, GlenAlz81 and RClark83 will be heading to Silverstone to try and progress further in GT Academy. RClark83 through the online time-trial, myself and Glen through the Facebook Challenge (quite surprised to have done enough to get an invite).

But, we are getting on top of things now, and I want to assure you, this is looking like its going to be a cracking season. Want to say a big thank-you to everyone who has signed up, lets make it something to remember!
