To be fair it's not roberte's responsibility to add everybody. If they are not capable of adding the host and being there on time it is actually their loss.

Yes, I realise that as I noted below in the final part of my comment. But still I think it is important that everyone is added by the host especially as he will have a list of attendees.

If he would have shown up in time I think roberte would have added him but since he was both late and hadn't added roberte it was very much his own fault. Hopefully it works better next time for him.

I guess we'll disagree here. The hosts responsibility is to set up and run the room. It is important for the drivers to make sure they can get into the room. That includes being friends with the host and being on time.

wow. sry for making a mess of things :) the fault is all mine and the issue will be fixed shortly! see you all at suzuka. this time my maneger will fill out the propper forms and papers :)

What a opener. Qualifying was a great session there wasnt a a rizla paper between us. Start of the race I was pumped, front row, #1 stiggy beside me I was #2, the roar off the engines was epic, 1st corner went well got along side stiggy, made him know I was there. Lead for a few then a twitch,. back to 3rd. after that calmed down and just got into a smooth groove, stuck to my startagy. Over take clean and i would be defending wide simples,,. Took no damage which made no unscheduled pitstops.

well done to all racers, but it was fords day. Bring on next race. PP penaltys and all.

yes everyone should add the host but if I was a host I would make sure I "had" everyone added especially if the room was "private" when only friends of the host can find the room. You can't tell if people are late if no messages are sent via PSN also. You know who's in your lobby prior to the event starting
 
My tv auto off after 90 mins . Samsung 42 hd .there is no way to turn the timer off . You can turn it on and set it for 4 hr . And it still goes off after 90 mins . Need tv controller near wheel at all times.or and get misses to sort it while you race 8-) . Gutted still no internet & reading how you all crashed lol . Unlucky ppl .

Even so, it says in the rules that it is the responsibility of the drivers to make sure they have the room host on their friends list. So if they haven't done this by the time the lobby is open, then as far as I'm concerned, tough luck for them. Why should we mess around and open a new lobby, or delay proceedings just to add a friend.
So yes, if he complained because the race had to be delayed because of those reasons, then I'm sorry but I agree with him. A lot of effort goes into organising and running the races, if people are only giving 50%, it's not worth our time.

Anyway, end of discussion. I'm sure everyone will be on each others friends lists in a fortnights time.
 
I don't mean to sound like a douche or anything or seem that way towards people but I've come from and used to run lobbies or 4-10 on Forza online racing leagues and we always had the right people in the lobbies. I used to host a lot, prior to the race "even though it's easier on Xbox to join a lobby and do a direct invite" I would have a list of who was in my lobby, what cars and what specs they are meant to be for that car. If someone didn't join and there was a few minutes before qualify we would message them a maximum of 3 times, if they don't respond or join after that them we would run without them. There was a long time from the lobby being open to qualifying started
