After much swearing i have got a 1.46.7 at Cape Ring
I was still being pretty cautious, i didnt take the last few corners flat out, and i was tentative on some others so i recon a 1.45 is possible, especially on a light fuel load

If you were full of fuel when you set that then a high 1.45 is possible.

Might not race this Sunday. Tracks like this and Suzuka are stupid for me as I use a controller, my best was a 1:55, but I'll race Cote.

Pagey- Go on then, how many laps?

Etid- This one should be easier on a controller as its all about quick corrections mate, why not race and get the points. You dont want ellis getting past you.

Brett, the controllers are bad when youre changing direction at high speed, you have to turn in early otherwise you just run wide and crash, thats why people with controllers can never get to the top of X1 TT leaderboards still should come and race though ETID

I used to think that until Pagey set a 6.07 on nurburgring 24hr track in the FGT with a controller. I found when I switched to the wheel that recovery and counter steering was more difficult.

Events- Each podium wins the team head start seconds for the final. 1st=15 sec, 2nd=10 and 3rd=5

1. Icy Kart space- (dirty) Cobras on CH tyres, no aids 10 laps of kart space.

2. Rally event-3 Laps of Eiger Norwand rally stage (dirty)

3. Nascar at Daytona (dirty) Wipe them out and cross the line.

4. Cat and mouse at Nurburgring. Fiat 500 pushed by GTR, (dirty of course) first 500 across line wins.

5. x1 reverse race 1 lap Nurburgring Self explanatory (dirty)

6.FINAL- Fugitive at Nurburgring. One selected driver will run (in a stock impreza) while being chased by the whole other team in nascars. The nascars must pin the scooby for 3 seconds to eliminate him or hold him up to destroy his finish time.
The team with the lowest lap time wins.

Thats one thing I have problems with, tuning, I kind of understand the toe and camber but not sure when to change it for different tracks, there is some really bad oversteer on this track aswell..

Controllers are a little bit slower (like 2 tenths at the most). I think somebody was top 10 in the X1 TT with a controller....I could be wrong though, dont remember. A skilled controller user can manage though. Not sure about an entire race on the thumbs, ouch.

Smithaz thought that the G27 was slower than the DFGT because of the big paddles. I haven't used the G27, dont know.

Rich- Its mainly what your used to a lot of people have been saying that the wheel advantage is gone after spec 2.
