I got down to 1 50's last season. Just had an awful race. I was fast round here though.

Despite draft I think its easier to go faster in free run than the race. You can use up 90% of your fuel then slip on fresh tyres also no traffic or distractions.
I love racing at Sarth, it gives everyone the chance to finish well with drafting opportunities

Indy- You were really quick at Spa mate and could have done better. You gotta stop yourself from pushing 100% of the time. I only target the next driver or two and try and stay consistent 👍

Just got confirmation from the mother than I can get a ped! Been looking and gonna sign off for insurance at the end of the week. Been looking at some peds and this one is calling me. Insurance is only £278.00 which is pretty decent!

I tried looking at insurance for a '02 Focus, 01 Saxo, '95 Micra and the cheapest was £4,800 for the Micra, the others were even more! The Saxo at £6,900. It's stupid! Ped's are the way forward

Put all your parents on as named drivers, it cut my insurance down by £800. And look at corsas, insurance for them is pretty good. Or a fiat pinto. Or a Citroen C1

I'm getting a c1 I think. Tax on them is miniscule.
On another note. I'm struggling for time to practice with school, football, revision, metal gear hd collection, ferg. Its a nightmare. Spurge 3P0 you better have a set up ready

Ellis go on compare the market and have a look - that's what I'm doing, you'll be surprised how expensive it is. The rise in 16-18 year olds with moped's will rise so much now!

The Corsa worked out at £3,400 and the C1 worked out at £3,400 aswell however the C1 was a 2006 model and was £2000 more than the 1995 Corsa for £270.

Technically we arent breaking any rules as I said before, unlike all the threads who double post etc, which is against the rules But they dont get told off for it.

Double posting is frowned upon but not an official rule if Bret posted a reply to this comment for instance, then maybe in an hour or two posted something that was an update to do with the thread for example, change in time of race start or something then that's ok within reason. Id link to that bit of the rules but I cenney be bothered.

Ah ok, but still, I see lots of threads who just post again even if they dont have too much to add, sometimes even 3 or 4 times in a row, instead of editing theyre previous post, and there isnt even a mention of going off topic in the guidelines so it must be ok

Spurgey how are you for a setup so far?

Insurance is ridiculous these days. Mine is still free but for my Alfa I would be looking at about £450 fully comp (no car crime round here, just violence against a person thanks to me ).

I am refusing to practice until thursdays now to try and encourage spurgey to become less sweaty

Oh and I finally scored a point in F1 !!!! Just the one but I am happy as 10th is my best finish

Brett how are you doing so bad on that game? I did a race weekend earlier, with force India, medium difficulty. I qualified 1st by 2 seconds.
Then in the race I was winning untill I spun and I was back in 17th, then I came through to field to win by 15 seconds, all in 23 laps.

I am playing on professional with just ABS on the lowest setting, its a real challenge. The AI is awesome, there is no way you would come from 17th to win by that margin on the same settings.....is there?
