The first few corners were a nightmare, had to doge cars and someone slammed into me and went off the track. It loooked like dirty Gran Turismo! Shame on ya! Things settled down after that, I was second to last. I caught up to flood, then Sakery, and had some good racing with Sakery. Then the pits ran through, raced with Sakery some more, and my last pit stop I forgot to change my tires to medium, so I had to pit again for mediums. Overall, I probably would have finished ahead of Sakery if I hadn't of needed that last stop. Good Racing though!

Just checked the replay so here comes my race report....might be a long one.

Qualifying went badly, 2 short cut penalties on my first lap then i took it super cautiously on the second just to get a lap in, i started 4th.
Going into the first corner sakery was spun out by a driver who shall remain un-named, sakery was out of control and his spinning car took me out along with a few others. I knew if i had a chance of winning this race i needed to stay with the front runner, which didnt happen due to this.

I got going and made up 5 places and on the second lap indy and spurgy caught me going into the hairpin at the end of the massive straight, one driver failed to brake early and rear ended my car nearly putting me into the gravel....he didnt wait.

I was on my own for a large portion of the race apart from lap 8 when sandman came out of the pits, we battled cleanly until the 10th lap at the same hairpin. I took my normal racing line, and he decided to dive to the inside onto the red stuff and 20 metres before the braking point turned back into the racing line and caught my car which sent me into a spin and i was in the gravel. I don't know how he thought i would know where he was, going 225 miles an hour and being so close to the braking point. So rather than stay behind me on the hairpin and get me on the straight after he made a reckless move which put me in the gravel and he didnt wait.

I had pretty much given up by now, so i just drove around waiting for the finish to come. I ended up 3rd which i should be happy about but some drivers just spoilt my race.


Edit: Sandman i've just watched the replay, its there for all to see. How would i spin there if someone didnt catch me? And rather than make assumption about me "crying" and leaving straight after the race, bare in mind i do have a life and a girlfriend to see.

Sandman i've just gone onto GT5, watched the reply, and took some pictures of your tire halfway inside mine a split second before the braking point, the contact sending me into a spin. I would upload them here but regulations are holding me back. The evidence is undeniable. Thats all i will say of it.

Just looked at fastest laps, Spurgy set a cracker, 2.49.1! I seriously hope he set that with some slipstream

Race report:
Ill make this a short one as not much happened.
Quali almost went wrong as I got a penalty on the first lap meaning I only had my second lap or more worn tyres to set a time, but luckily I managed to take pole by 4 tenths.
On the first lap I was caught out by cold tyres and went wide putting me on the grass and spnning me out. So I thought my way back up from last.
On lap 2 something happened between me and Indy, I drafted up behind him felt a big knock and he went flying off. I watched the replay and it shows me pushing him in a straight line for 2 seconds or so, then he just goes flying off, so I think it was lag as there was lag the corner before as well
After that it was quite a boring race, I thought Id play it safe and go for a 3 stopper but I then realised I couldnt go fast enough to gain a whole pitstop on SM so it looked like I was going to have to settle for 2nd. But unfortunately for SM he dc'd meaning I came home in 1st with the fastest lap.
All in all I think a lucky race
Also I had a quick look at lap 10 and SM, its wasnt at the hairpin where Pagey went off, it was the right kink before hand.

Race Report:
Quali was terrible as i got penalties on both runs (I'm used to having 2 tires on track) but a spinout at the Indianapolis curve made it worse

The Race, I was catching up at the beginning but I got hit in the back and went into the sand, quickly getting back on track and trying to gain pace everything was going well until Mulsane on the 1st lap were I tapped (look like lag) Pagey which caused him to go into the sand, I tried waiting but I was shunted down the road and force to go on, it was smooth until lap 2 between me and Spurgy and a bump draft from him cause me to lose control and spun out and I fall back to 6th and remain there hoping to catch Etid but a d/c from Sandman gave me 5th. Pretty boring and lonely race after lap 2 for me.

Pagey, I didnt have slipstream on that lap, I just managed to nail almost every corner, was one of those one of insane laps that I probably couldnt do again Also I had 60 litres of fuel

To prove how replays from one person, can be completley different from another.
Hence how you didnt hit me at spa, on my replay you took me out.

My replay at least shows otherwise, it shows no lag, your car wasn't jumping around like mine was at Spa (shown by the reply you posted) and it clearly shows contact. What else can I go on?
