As title says - anyone have inside info that this car will be making it into the Car list?

If you race Bathurst you have to do it in the obligatory Falcon or even the Commonwhores....

Or GT3 cars like it happened at the 12h Bathurst last weekend.

But yes, some V8s would be cool.

If there was even a hint of some info about a car coming soon (even something like a Dihatsu Midget II) there'd be multiple threads about it already. :D

I wish we did.

They seem to slowly be introducing some of the older cars from versions past. Dunno about the FXG but I wouldn't be surprised if the Tickford made an appearance. <shrug> I'd like to see a Torana ;).

A v8 interceptor would be good anytime a race at the Tokyo thunderdome (like yesterday's nations).

The chance of anyone on here having any inside info is zero.
I would welcome a Falcon though, and the chance to buy one in the UK would be even better :irked:

If you consider the fact that Ford doesn’t even back any of the Falcon’s in VASC, it’d Make licensing just that little bit harder. Although the cars do have Ford’s blessing, but GT often only gets factory backed cars from what I’ve noticed.

It would be more likely to see a RBHRT Commodore or Nissan Altima show up in GT Sport.

I don't know how things work with licencing today, but in the past, PD added the Ginetta, Spyker, that Dutch yellow race car and TVR as examples. Again, I don't know how long PD had the licence to use them. The XR8 stayed through to GT6(and GTPSP).

Might be different with defunct cars. Maybe Ford(USA) had the last say over Ford Australia or maybe there was too much red tape between Ford USA/Ford Australia/FPR/FPV/Prodrive/David Richards, to include the F6 & GT in GT6.

Ian Bell from SMS(Project Cars), mentioned they almost got the licence for the series, but VASC wanted too much to include all the tracks. Hope that's not the case of why there are no Australian cars(as yet) in GTS.
