Blancpain seemed to handle Monza as a round 1 track, so why can't we. As long as we follow "A race can't be won in the first corner, but it can surely be lost" rule, we should be fine.

Yeah, I think we will have everything sorted after the test race. Shouldn't be a big problem.
@CodDemon101 What do we do about weather in the series? In the first test we had some rain so I guess it will not be dry only. Will you base the weather on real world forecasts?

Usually it goes by country circuit forecasts so I won't be using one

I plan to record live and also a replay. I'm not sure how good they will turn out as I will be using an iPhone and it doesn't pick up the TV too well but we'll see how it goes!

I have found a way of recording from the HDMI with a PS3, but I don't currently have a method of recording.

Using one of those PVR recording devices such as the Haupage (spelling most likely off) connecting the cord coming off of the PS3 to a splitter, then attaching one end to the TV and the other to the recorder. I think this only works with some splitters.

Will see how it goes with the iPhone, I have ordered a cheap phone tripod off eBay that will be much better than trying to balance it between two books!
I tried using the PSeye camera too but it's not much better than the iPhone...
Will be posting a vid of my set-up soon in the hardware forum...just ordered a few goodies from DSD and will be pimping up my G27!

Comes with all the wiring needed, only drawback, the recording is in HD and remains in HD when edited / uploaded, but your playable display is through composite cables, so not HD. It also works on Xbox360, and that has full HD/HD record/play... sony encrypt their HDMI
