Guys. I'm a bit pissed off.

I just had to quit AM lobby since it seems lag was from me. There were only 9 drivers for me except others have all the 14; everything was find until end of qualy when the game load the grid, 5 drivers disappeared, rasta was disconnected (from my end)... I decided to quit the race after I checked Joao live and that we didn't have the same screen.
I'm sorry if I caused any disturbance but I can assure you that's not my internet fault: I have a hell of a good connexion (optic fiber with 1 Gb/s !!!)

Sorry if I'm being rough but it was my first race, I knew the rules and was prepared (some don't)
 
Collected to many damages due to people braking dangerously early 👎

Well this Reverse sprint race sure is a great recipe for crashes.

Bad day all around, ridiculous to have one of those Vipers in AM hit me on the first lap heading into the last turn. So much lag from the field causing me damage. And at the end GT says "You have been disconnected from the server" with 8 1/2 minutes left...

throughout the whole race I thought i was the leader but joe was the actual leader :/
I was about to call out joe cause he was blocking me and I thought he was a lap down then after the race I saw that he was the leader and I was like THE HELL GT6!!!!!!!!! my bad joe. Also how did pro go?
 
Every one new it was gonna happen. I did happen. Just wish It could have gon difrently. Sorry to the other people involved expeshily rasta.
 
Again I suffered a bit due to beginner's nerves and a bit of wheel-banging, sorry aboe and pyrates if I ruined your races. It was good fun though, definitely improved my driving I think...

I guess my races could have gone better, but I'm off to do other stuff now, so will do a write-up when i get the time.

Grats to Gabguss and Litchi on their victories in either race though. Nice work.

On my side I won't write race reports this season. I'm too busy with organization, honestly. Plus new work date etc is coming quick, too much things in my head lol.

Some things to say though:

- Stewards are currently working on Round 1 reports that you guys made. They are sorry for the delay, but the staff was pretty busy this week. On my side, I don't review the incidents this season, I just give my opinion about the Stewards's decisions.

- We are thinking about a complete new process regarding Sprint and Endurance races system. New rule will be implemented and will apply from round 4 at Suzuka. With this new rule, there will be less crashes (we hope) and very close to real Blancpain system.

- Thanks to all who joined tonight. And sorry if I made some grammar mistakes during my pre-race speech, I was actually most focused on what I wanted to tell than what I really typed lol.

Well in a way he was right - we didn't have a wreck... we had many :dunce:

BTW - I've just taken a look at the AM quali results - awesome stuff SK8R and Rasta: .005 difference? You two are really well matched in that team it seems 👍

Am guessing your race, like mine, was incident-packed, as you would have been expected to do well in the BMW's.

NO they did not. However, I should clarify what I was trying to get across. I noticed in the first lap in both races is people dive bombing into the first corner. I was on the inside of the R8 of @Ryan Lynch and both the BMWs on the outside in front of him. I decided to break a little early to avoid dive bombing either the BMWs or the R8 and then out of no where I see a Nissan dive bombing my inside making it 3 wide. Me, an audi to my left, and a Nissan to my right. You can call it a vette sandwich if you like it's quite tasty. :lol: However, we should all be weary with who is around and give each other space and not run each other off the road. I was seeing some of this and my apologizes to @joetruckv8 with the closing minutes of the endurance me and @Ryan Lynch we were catching him. On my screen the game was displaying me as the leader of the race. I though joe was a back marker so when we were catching him I was hoping that he would let us "leaders" by. However, he put up fight and on the front straight I felt that I was being aggressive in my head I was thinking "the hell you are a lap down man" until after the race and I saw the results my expression to GT6 was....

This also happened in the first PRO race, iirc.

Just about to have a brief look at the replay for a few incidents that caught my eye.

Yes the BMWs have a bad rep going for them 3 out of the 4 races, they have caused incidents. however, I also saw other drivers causing incidents I saw another driver run one of the BMWs off the track on the serragilo straight where the BMW was forced off the track and hit the wall what happen to driver etiquette? The BMWs are not the only ones causing incidents. In the start of the endurance even though i some how got myself in a 3 wide position in front of my I see two BMWs perpendicular to the track, blocking the whole turn. I was 3 wide in the middle with drivers behind me, I had no where to go and so did several others around me. It's unfortunate that this happen but we have to move on to the next race SPA. penalties will be given out in both brands hatch and this race at monza. The points you see now will be completely different after penalties are given out. However, i agree with T-n-T the shenanigans have to stop. I know the best way to make positions up is on a start but to dive bomb people and risking a huge incident or rear ending people isn't the answer and you ruin your race and others. If you see some one in front relatively close of you then get out from behind them by moving to the side cause you will never know when they will break, if it's the start of the race and you can't move to the side then let off the gas and back out before the first of the breaking markers and give the car in front of you SPACE. Makes no sense in trying to make a late braking maneuver when their is someone in front of you or the side of you since you have no where to go. In my case if I were to do a late breaking maneuver their would be a chance that I would have dive bomb the BMWs who were on the out side lined up for the turn. I decided to break a bit early just to avoid breaking too late and running into the side of them even though they took each other out. Also, chat should only be used during the pace laps, not mid race it's a distraction. If chat is going to be used it has to be used to notify damage during the pace lap or special "situations" like what we had in the AM after quali. Another is for lap drivers you see the leaders coming move over and SLOW down to let them by BEFORE the next corner. Do not move over and accelerate with along side with them and taking away the inside line for a corner. I can also add on and bring rage quitting is not allowed in this series and once again we had that here at Monza.




THIS NEXT RACE IS AT SPA IF I KNOW THIS AND THE BLACNPAIN SERIES. THEN MOST LIKELY THE START FINISH WILL BE THE TOTAL SIGN HEADING UP TO EAU ROUGE. THAT IS WHERE THE OFFICIAL START FINISH LINE IS FOR THE BLACNPAIN SERIES AND I WOULD'T BE SURPRISED IF WE DO MAKE THAT SIGN THE START FOR THE RACE. So further more I can't expect and ask everyone to not cause incidents in the next race since we are a huge series now, and we have a lot of people attending the races so there's bound to be incidents somewhere but let's try to minimize those incidents and have a CLEANER start for the next race. So please this is only a friendly reminder. We want this series to thrive, which we are, if we want to keep being successful and continue being the #1 series in GTP then let's show everyone how professional this series is. Remember eventually all these races will be uploaded to youtube for everyone to watch. We even have fans who don't have PS3s. Seriously that says a'lot.

I can feel everyones frustration. The accidents are WAY too abundant. I really hope next race we can all just basically pretend like the first turn is not a passing zone, if that mind set will get everyone through the beginning without damage. I can say that I had a couple of bumps on my end as well, and after the race @RodeRuner1967 had mentioned that I turned in on him. I apologize and I can honestly say that I broke WAY early in turn one and was in general very very cautious through out if you look at the replay, Just mustve not at all seen you so very sorry @RodeRuner1967! @SSJGZWarrior I thought joe truck was blocking you as well I couldn't believe it! crazy ending to that race.

I thought that as well but he was the actual leader so he's allowed to block. :D but the ending for the AM endur was something else extremely close finish after one hour of racing but ahhh wish I got that win ahhhh so close. But two podiums still looks good on my record :) and a podium in the endur helps the team in the championship.
 
The start was so bad , people just stoped at the first corner! And when i passed the first corner i seen guys on the third band just covering the whole road from the sand on the right to the fence on the left . It was almost imposible to stay without any kind of damage.
But ,after 10 laps the we were really separated and i had a close battle with my team mate.

well what can you do we had a bmw road block but what we can do is ready ourselves for SPA :)
