we had tech issues after qualifying and the green went to start the rolling start the leader lagged out, then several people got damaged because of lag and then one driver got stuck like couldn't move.

I may want to be a steward at the end of the series because of my race experience my clean clean racing and the fact that I have hosted A successful series for 3 if not 4 complete seasons. I also can cover TNT-2000 Stewarding responsibilities when he is not able too. We communicate on the phone which makes it even more so beneficial for us to be Stewart's in this series since we are both AM drivers and Pacific standard time zone. I also and on only missing maybe one the race every season due to responsibilities, and no matter what happens in a race I usually finish them so I can have the replay plus I know how to take pictures of them and upload them to the GTP. The only thing I need to learn to do is how to turn the PS3 file into a YouTube video so I can post them on the forms... 👍

I care and like this series a lot, and plan on being a lifer throughout this series whole time of running.

-Just a thought?,.

I also received a request from an other member asking to be a steward. I answered that "We have good profilers members in the staff and we spot members who know the rules well, have an examplary behavior, never angry, never sad, etc. Stewards often post productive messages on the forum, they help others everytime they can etc.

We take your request in consideration and if you're that kind of member, we'll spot you soon and contact you to be a Steward, don't worry. Just show us that you're what we are looking for."

I other words, we'll spot you, soon or later ;)

Well you'll see that because I have a couple of notes to stay here on the Op. The fact that both the endurance races I starting from 11th place and finishing on the podium without taking damage in my opinion shows that I do know what I'm doing out there on the track, and I usually do have positive notes not complaints about drivers. But I'm not begging to be a Steward, just if you guys need another 1. Right now I'm just covering TNT 2000 in case he has scheduling conflicts that I can cover for him for. But all in all TNT 2000 is a very good Stewart and a very good police man for the series... I love this series; everything about it from heavy damage to the tire compound rules and racing guys ny speed in our own class so I will be racing with you guys for life. The only cars that bug me are the SC430 and that's only because they are super GT's, but I will say you guys have reg them very well to the GT3 class chassis overall. Just I know super GT cars you can apply the power harder & sooner than you can do in a GT3 machine. I do believe the Viper and Chevy needs to be sped up HP wise not kg by 20 hp via Viper and the Chevy 10 hp and the SC430 10 hp (maybe SLS too -kg wise for that chassis or drop the HP on the Z4 (20hp) and the Audi (20hp) but after we complete the season first to make sure that it's not the tracks but the cars. But at the same time I'm not sure if the same cars that are dominating our series, are dominating the pro ranks. Which of course would have to be taken into consideration. If everyone thinks the cars are fine as they are, i'm also fine with that I can make it work with my chassis... Blah, blah, blah, 👍

Yes the BMWs have a bad rep going for them 3 out of the 4 races, they have caused incidents. however, I also saw other drivers causing incidents I saw another driver run one of the BMWs off the track on the serragilo straight where the BMW was forced off the track and hit the wall what happen to driver etiquette? The BMWs are not the only ones causing incidents. In the start of the endurance even though i some how got myself in a 3 wide position in front of my I see two BMWs perpendicular to the track, blocking the whole turn. I was 3 wide in the middle with drivers behind me, I had no where to go and so did several others around me. It's unfortunate that this happen but we have to move on to the next race SPA. penalties will be given out in both brands hatch and this race at monza. The points you see now will be completely different after penalties are given out. However, i agree with T-n-T the shenanigans have to stop. I know the best way to make positions up is on a start but to dive bomb people and risking a huge incident or rear ending people isn't the answer and you ruin your race and others. If you see some one in front relatively close of you then get out from behind them by moving to the side cause you will never know when they will break, if it's the start of the race and you can't move to the side then let off the gas and back out before the first of the breaking markers and give the car in front of you SPACE. Makes no sense in trying to make a late braking maneuver when their is someone in front of you or the side of you since you have no where to go. In my case if I were to do a late breaking maneuver their would be a chance that I would have dive bomb the BMWs who were on the out side lined up for the turn. I decided to break a bit early just to avoid breaking too late and running into the side of them even though they took each other out. Also, chat should only be used during the pace laps, not mid race it's a distraction. If chat is going to be used it has to be used to notify damage during the pace lap or special "situations" like what we had in the AM after quali. Another is for lap drivers you see the leaders coming move over and SLOW down to let them by BEFORE the next corner. Do not move over and accelerate with along side with them and taking away the inside line for a corner. I can also add on and bring rage quitting is not allowed in this series and once again we had that here at Monza.

THIS NEXT RACE IS AT SPA IF I KNOW THIS AND THE BLACNPAIN SERIES. THEN MOST LIKELY THE START FINISH WILL BE THE TOTAL SIGN HEADING UP TO EAU ROUGE. THAT IS WHERE THE OFFICIAL START FINISH LINE IS FOR THE BLACNPAIN SERIES AND I WOULD'T BE SURPRISED IF WE DO MAKE THAT SIGN THE START FOR THE RACE. So further more I can't expect and ask everyone to not cause incidents in the next race since we are a huge series now, and we have a lot of people attending the races so there's bound to be incidents somewhere but let's try to minimize those incidents and have a CLEANER start for the next race. So please this is only a friendly reminder. We want this series to thrive, which we are, if we want to keep being successful and continue being the #1 series in GTP then let's show everyone how professional this series is. Remember eventually all these races will be uploaded to youtube for everyone to watch. We even have fans who don't have PS3s. Seriously that says a'lot.

Your friendly little Mexican red crab,

Carlos. :)
Definitely ALL this post is important but I highlighted in green what is even more important :D

Regarding PRO Monza race, I just had the time to check the 1st 10mn of the Endurance this morning. I want to say that I'm quite surprised how guys managed 1st chicane so smoothly 👍 Only David and Michael had some troubles in 1st chicane but I've seen no massive crash.
Also, I seen that everyone tried to respect the track limits which is greatly appreciated, especially on this track.
This is for the 10 1st minutes of the race only, maybe i'll see bad things if I watch the rest. But for now, all is fine :)

My race report:
Endurance: Had a bad qualifying and got 12th. Good driving through 1st chicane, just some normal touches here and there. My Lexus was down on the straits but I was very smooth in the corners and with shorter braking distances. Very happy that I managed to overtake twice and the entrance of Ascari on the outside :). Did a mistake with the strategy as I pitted 2 laps after the guys I was racing with (crelou, CAmikaze). So they undercut me and somebody even jumped me during the pits (GT need to improve the pitting a lot). Great race with the Nissans who were faster on the straights (especially acceleration) but slow in corners. With patience I managed to pass both of them with poor Camikaze running on his last drops at the home straight.

Sprint: Got off a slow start (must practice more) and was at the second half of the pack. Good and tight racing until Parabolica lap 2 where JehtroKing touched the real of Cami and the rest is history :). Got to pit seeing Racingline losing the car just at pit entry and crashing it in the barriers. Not the best sprint race.
Both races 9th and i am happy considering the circumstances. Congrats to my teammate Litchi for snapping a great victory from the monstrous Audis.

I saw a big improvement on clean racing and I think most of the crashes were due to lack of control and ability rather than aggressive driving. I am really enjoying the series so keep it up.

Round 2: Monza

Quali: 5th (best of the rest, effectively)
Endurance: 14th
Sprint: 11th

This was a very interesting race... I think most people would have rage-quit had they had the sort of race I had. It wasn't so much that I was the victim of aggressive driving but more a case of being the victim of some clumsy (and in one case, thoughtless) driving behaviour. Somehow, though, I managed to see the funny side, and even used my misfortune as an opportunity to check out the driving of some of the other drivers in the league, who I'd yet to get to know on track before this point.

Quali
In Quali, I was happy to see my name as the next fastest behind the faves BMW & Audi - it was not only surprising but also quite a boost. Monza is defo one of my least favourite tracks, I guess going fast in a straight line just doesn't do it for me like it used to

Endurance
This time, it seemed to me as though the formation lap was a lot smoother. There were a few people out of position and even one premature starter iirc, but at least we avoided the frustration of a second formation lap as was the case at Brands - nice one guys 👍
My race strategy (which I'd decided on very early in the week) was to pit in for RM tyres after the first racing lap. I'd planned on having a nice clean firsrt lap, but it wasn't to be - got tapped from behind going into the first corner (which I had a premonition about during the formation lap, funny enough) and that was effectively race over. I then hobbled back to the pits, being sure to stay off the racing line where necessary to allow faster cars to pass in the process, and then slapped on a set of the RM's I so craved.
I was then disappointed to see that even my pace on the RM's around here was off the pace of the leading drivers, who were still on RH!
However, I was in a good place mentally and the race then became a matter of fighting my way up through the pack, hoping to claim back my top 5 position. Things were going well - I'd managed to close the gap to some of the yet-to-pitters (new Terminology) and was feeling positive about making inroads on a decent finishing position.
Unfortunately, about two-thirds of the way into my first RM stint, I collided with another car on the exit of Ascari - who was having a battle with another car - and had made a small error, meaning that I had to attempt evasive action, but it was too late - I hit into the car, spun out and incurred yet more damage. I then took a look at the track map to see if there were any approaching vehicles headed my way - there were, so I waited for them to pass safely before making my way back onto the track.
Back to the pits again to add a splash of fuel and repair the damage to my car and then it really was race over. I was lapped by some of the other drivers - which I hope I was able to make an easy and effortless process by moving off line and slowing to allow them to pass unobstructed.
Overall, the race should have been a disappointing one, but actually, I'm glad to have it out of the way because, as I've already mentioned - Monza isn't exactly a fave of mine. I do respect it's heritage and the fact it has one of the most - if not the most - passionate group fans of any race track, but where driving on it is concerned, it's always been a track I've preferred to avoid.

Grats to Gabguss for a great pole and flag to flag victory.

Sprint
Not much went on here, from my POV. I escaped being involved in any incidents through the first corner, but I had this feeling that something was going to go awry... And, akin to those Final Destination films, the Incident Reaper caught up with me going into the second chicane, where I moved to allow space for someone trying to make what looked to me to be an ambitious pass. Unfortunately, there was not enough space to remain on the race track and, because I didn't react quick enough to take to cutting the corner to avoid the contact, our two cars touched and I found myself in the barrier with yet more damage. Race over, again

Grats to Will on a great start and the win.

Yea, in critical situation, don't forget to use the off-road areas 👍

I woke up super early today, so I'm going to open a room for FP1. Like always all is welcome PRO or Am just send FR's I only practice in Friends Only Lounge... 👍

First off sorry I couldn't tell you guys I couldn't make it was in an area with no reception... Anyways in spa next weekend it is an hour and a half race, don't overtake in the first corners there is no point. Take it easy and build up momentum.

Since it's a wide track it is safe to overtake if both drivers know what they're doing :)
