FIA GT1 & GT2 World Championship | Pending!

Are the Zonda's way too fast for GT2 or the Vette's too slow?

Seems Zonda is too fast! Vette is very good, but clearly the Zonda is better

I'll test now, see what times i get

EDIT: Problem for the Zonda is that its slower than the GT1 cars, so its better than the Vette so if I limit the BHP to 551 or something it should level the it out
I'm about to test at Fuji F, Nurb and Daytona. See what times I get there :tup

I would test the Zonda too if I hadn't installed Engine Tuning in it..

Ah never mind mate 👍
If others want to test the Zonda, feel free but if you could give me feedback about times, tyre wear and stuff that would be great 👍

I will try and get this sorted before the weekend, clearly Ive missed something, my fault :dunce:

to be honest I would be delighted if you fairly reduce the power of the zondas. that way I can use the racing soft tyres longer, and it would be more controllable with the racing hard tyres. :D

Why isn't there more cars in GT2?

Trying to keep selelction done and new guys dont always have a lot of cars, these are easy to get & cheap 👍 GT1 will have less car to chose next series, maybe 4 cars and 3 per car

Its a case of limiting the BHP til the times are matched/ very close. I think 551BHP might work well but not done lots of testing, got series to race soon. More testing tomorrow 👍

you mean we get 40 bhp less than vettes what is number of their performance points?

Performance Points:
Corvette (591BHP & 1150KG) = 639
Zonda (591BHP & 1150KG) = 625
Nissan (591BHP & 1150KG) = 640

PP doesn't work well in my opinion, clearly wrong for the Zonda. Right for the Nissan and Corvette but Zonda 625? Yeah right....

mine had 631 last race, with the 3rd engine upgrade and a stage 2 turbo :) but you are right zondas have a better downforce I guess. like the maserati mc12s in the real fia gt1 series. they made them to put a narrower rear wing as far as I remember but they still faster than anyone else :)

See mine doesnt but only an extra 6 PP, it doesnt really have an major impact. All the cars were without turbos, Zonda without engine map.
I loved the Maserati MC12, wish they had it on GT5. Wish they had all the great GT cars on here 👍 Anyway, I will get to the bottom of this!

GT2 Times - Daytona

All 591BHP
Zonda - 1.38.5xx
Corvette - 1.38.295
Nissan - 1.37.941
All default settings (suspension) Max downforce, maxing out on gearbox.

Any room left in GT2? might have a driver

Yes we do, one place left in GT2 👍

We do have spaces in GT1 too as well

Testing

Me and YMG7LR have been working, and we think we may have found a way of making them even (Zonda and Corvette) Will be testing again tomorrow (hopefully) but will get this fixed before next racing meeting :)

I'm going to be testing in a bit. Eager to see how Fuji goes.

EDIT: I never really liked Fuji. I'm torn between the Viper and the CLK because I can't setup the Mclaren. i was running 1:34.xxx with softs.

Ok Fuji is a difficult track which is why i like it 👍

You need to select a car and once you start racing this weekend you can't change it
