In accordance to the blocking. In FIA, every driver gets one full block. Take my defence against Seth in the second race for second place. Toward the last chicane I would block the inside room from him I Didn't serve back to right, that would be double blocking and against FIA protocol. He eventually found a hole to slide into because I left just enough space. I made him go around me until I made a racing error. If couldn't make his way around my racing line then there was no way I'd let him by because he's consistently on my ass. He's lucky he found that error the third time we came down to that chicane. Very clean. Only blocking I did all race. (Please show me another incident, I'm pretty open to apologizing for incidents).

We had a good battle. You talking about where I slid up the inside before the chicane? The back straight I lost a deal of time. I held close because of draft. The Fairlady/350 Z LM and GTR LM don't have great top speed but they have acceleration and cornering speed. There was some lag during the race. I came out the pits and didn't see memto until I was braking. Like he came out of nowhere. One lap I see higher and TnT drive in the gravel at the hairpin just to see them 'jump' 4 seconds in front of me before the Schumacher esses! That had me tricked.

Aaahhh that explains alot.... Did wonder what happened there... With the amount of lag incidents I've had around there I'm beginning to wonder if the track itself is glitchy???

That was a great multi-lap battle!b:tup:

My suggestion for this Monza race in particular is when drafting up to the upcoming driver if you don't have a front fender on the guy you should yield and the same goes for the leading car if he is getting passed by a fender into that immediate corner. I know that's how I do it, I do try to make the leading car feel like I'm going to try something stupid but its a psychological move just get him to make a mistake thinking im going to try something crazy. But at Monza is the safest move to follow the front fender rule. There are 4 straight including the parabolica so if you don't get the pass on follow the guy, wait until you find a straight that setups the proper sling shot draft pass imo. If the guy gaps you where you cant draft him then you were holding him up and he should be able to make ground as he may. Blocking for 300km is redundant in my book. You can always fall beck on changing your pit strategy for track positioning to make the spot back up. I will be bump drafting my team-mates to create a gap on the following pack and then race them on the last tire stint. But my racing is all about strategy. :sly:👍

Last year the FIA GT3 cars were racing Blancpain Endurance Series so they called the sprint series FIA GT3 series. I wanted the rights to Blancpain because evryone was trying to run WEC but imo combining Prototypes and GT cars was a good experience but kept the grid compition at 8 cars. I want 16 GT cars to battle it out so Blancpain came to mind. BUT when I started Blancpain no one was intrested in running 300km which I was shocked about since everytime Jav runs he's FIA GT1 series we have pack grids. So Blancpain ended up getting morphed to FIA GT Series and that's when I added the FIA banner to this series. But know I would like to keep the Blancpain op up and running and maybe once a month we could run 300km since that would be like a endurance series for us. I like both senerio's 150km 2 round sprint (FIA GT3) and on occasion running 300km straight out once a month since there is more data to get to get rightfully prepared for a 300km race. We will run the 2 round senerio for our bi weekly FIA GT3 Series, but I want to mock all the races this year that go on and GT5 has a track for,...

WEC F1 Blancpain and VLN (Nurburgring) are this weekend.

Don't for get about WSBK @ Aragon on the 13th-14th too. When I get home from my own kart racing event, I'm going to drive my girl crazy when I make up all these series in 1 sitting. Only bad thing I have to catch WEC F1 Blancpain and VLN (Nurburgring) on Youtube which sometimes takes a min before someone to post the full HD race on there, but usually Eurosport's got it covered for me so I'm optimistic!

-Op Updated Overall Points, plz Check it Out! 👍

You also forgot to add the U.S Masters to that list hahahaha,

cool, will it be this thread or the Monza thread?

All Endurance style racing will be in that tread, and all FIA GT3 sprint series racing will be here in this tread. Thanks for asking!

By the voting poll the next race here will be at Mazda Raceway, but we are racing Mazda with Blancpain so if drivers are cool with this we will run both series at Mazda raceway. Seems FIA GT3 will be a warm up to the Blancpain Endurance race at Mazda Raceway imo'

Ok, So this thread is for sprint race style, and the other Endurances correct?

You're correct Dave.

Hmm, I'll have to test the GTR for sure. Letting everyone as of May 5th I'll be offline until mid August. I've accepted a job on the other side of the country so I won't be near a ps3 :P.

Keep me on your friendslist though because I'll be keen to rejoin, I've had a blast so far!

The problem with the GTR is its shaped like a garden shed, useful for storage but not aerodynamic,

It corners and brakes as good as any car. The R35 TC is unmatched out of corners with that awd.

It doesn't corner as well as you say. Especially with the ballast. I was using DS3 and there was a turning lag to it. Takes a split second to almost decide "Hey, can I actually turn or not?"
