Not really as bad as it sounds, just lots of scraping and very much adrenaline after the races.

I quite enjoyed tonight, had some clean(ish) racing with many people. MrM was all right with me, didn't do anything stupid. Dax and both lotus's were good, paulmac was clean as always and as were most of the grid. i think everyone needs to just calm down, and not let the adrenaline get to their heads...

Thanks :), im sorta glad I can only do race 1s until GATE goes on summer break looks like I avoided a bombshell in race 2 and 3 :scared:.

But Gokart you raced well in race 1 I passed you only when you made an error then you did the same to me 3 or 4 laps later . I nearly had you on the run to the line but not quite :P.

Also 6th overall with only one race .

some good racing tonight, shame i'm having problems with the car coming out of corners and i'm even using the tune that is in dax's thread

I used a tune from GTP and I have to say understeer still scares me.

The cars are definitely horrible to drive but mine was going pretty fast, did a 1:37.5 in one of the races, without slipstream. should have made top five in second race.. would have been nice to be top three in the standings :P

Edit: seems to be a pretty nice spread of different cars in the top though, which is nice.

About to update OP with the leaderboard.

Clio and Mazda MAY need a performance break, but Nurb may have just not been their track.

Got a feeling the clio will be a bit better at London. :sly:

He he he...

You know I always do badly at street tracks, it's not like they are my speciality.

Exactly. And London isn't really narrow like another certain street track. :sly:

London reverse is a great track though, and overtaking will be done on the straight and possibly the wide left hander. 👍

I've never won 2 races around another street track in a small MR car.........

yea, i found that when i was sitting behind you i was thinking 'were going a bit slow here' and thinking if i can get past i can pull away. and then i got past and i found it really hard to make corners and braking points. did you find that as well? you were all over the back of me until you passed me and i thought you were gone and you had won it. good racing though, and i just beat ya to the line :P

Yeah and you also won at Tokyo didn't you. ;)

:P

I'm trying to forget that, that race was a major blow to my ego.

I think Sumo098's was affected too. :nervous::nervous:

Now I have to go to bed and try not to cry, and I have to tell myself I am the fastest racer ever... Of course, Brian O'Connor is better than me.

Hehe. It was a major boost for mine. I mean taking my 1st win by 13 seconds (?) over carracer was pretty awesome. :D

He got me back at Nurb but that's not the point....... :guilty:

EDIT: Brian O'Connor has 20 gears though.

Shame I wasn't there for Nurb, I was fastest in Practise.

I was going to make a 10+ gear joke too haha.

I'm just wondering, what is the minimum amount of laps someone has to do to score points? Do you need to finish to score?

Not sure if I can dedicate the time to this, got building work starting on Thursday which is going on for a month, meaning that I have to move out for a while.
