I thought that I wouldn't get anywhere starting in 18th, but to climb up into the top 10 is a pretty good result. Hopefully that kind of form will continue and I can improve.

WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT!?!?!?!?!?!??!!?!!!?!??!

Wishing I could have kept up my practice and qualifying performance for the race in order to sweep the podium

Sakura Ishibashi made her F1 debut in Free Practice 1 for the Australian Grand Prix, where she clocked the 11th fastest time and ran the most laps of anyone at 59 laps. Sakura later explained the rest of her campaign for the year. "I'll be in Ruapuna this weekend, as well as Shanghai, Sahkir, Barcelona, and Monaco. I won't be in Nogaro, Estoril, Monza, Clark, or Mexico City, but everywhere else I will be able to help the team."

As the teams move the short distance between Adelaide, Australia to Ruapuna, New Zealand, one team certainly keen on erasing the former from memory is Polaris Racing F1 Team. After grabbing pole position, Stephanie Porter-Kelley fell all the way down to 12th, while Diego Jaramillo struggled to remain in classified position while struggling with gearbox issues. "We had everything going for us at the start and from the opening lap, we started to lose it." Porter-Kelley described. "To go from pole to out of points is as disheartening as I've felt, and I've been in F1 for almost a decade." Expect Polaris to be fighting hard from wire to wire in New Zealand this weekend.

After a disappointing performance in all three practice sessions and qualifying. Swift Autosport finishes the first race of the season with one driver just within the top 5. While the other struggled the entire race. Swift Autosports team owner Seth Smith has this to say. "I'm very proud of this entire Swift Autosport team and I hope that we can carry our luck into the New Zealand Grand Prix."

Still unspectacular. Either I'm not gelling with the car or I'm not gelling with the track.

"I feel like the session went a little bit better than in Adelaide, but Black Rose Racing F1 are still chasing the front-runners and I'm still learning with every lap I complete. I'm starting to get used to road racing again after so long, but I still am amazed at the speed I can carry into every corner with our car; It's amazingly stable compared to running an Indycar or some of the LMP1s & LMP2s I've tested.

"This track's pretty narrow, so there isn't a lot of places I felt like I could try and really push it without going off-line. It's a fairly short lap too, so every little mistake you make can come back to bite you... To be within a second of the #23 in my case is pretty good, but I can do better next time out."

Ironically, I read the Qualifying results while I'm watching F1 qualifying as of this post

Very surprised and pleased with the improvement made. I knew we had a car to get up to the front, we just needed more work on the car and we've done it. Hopefully, we can repeat that for the race.

FP3 still sucked. At least I finally got my act together for qualifying

A few things to note...
1) With the attrition rate being so high, Monaco will be so fun to watch.
2) TKU and CDR are kinda just the Merc and Ferrari of the series this season, only without the ability to get both cars to the finish.
3) Where the **** did Parrilla come from?
4) A couple races might be recorded after all, like Austin.
