FIFA 17 OT: Engine Swapped (Out Now)

A few updates:
- FIFA 17 will feature 23 Brazilian teams.
- Top 50 Player ratings are being released (slowly).
- Demo comes out September 13th
All the top goalkeepers have been given a massive boost in ratings.

Ronaldo has been given an astonishing 95 rating, literally he will have a 99 card in no time. Plus I don't know what the stats are going to be when he will get a TOTY or most likely TOTS.

I'm wondering why Ronaldo is rated higher than Suarez never mind Messi.

Payet's passing is better than Messi's...

Has anyone got a clue why my PS4 just randomly started downloading the Demo? FYI, the PS Store has been unavailable since a good two hours or so and it still is.

Couple of matches with the demo. Corners are very different, I also quite like being able to move your player on free kicks. Even if Ibrahimovic had closed me down to 5 yards before I kicked the ball and the ref gave nowt!

Driven shots are nice.

I tried getting the download yesterday afternoon around 4pm here but it wasn't in the store yet. I'll be trying it after work today. :D

Quite confused in why this is classed as 'generic'.

Because it is.

Elaboration. For whatever reason the licensed version has been removed and replaced with a generic version with the same name.

No wonder PES is trumpeting about the Camp Nou so much. That's a big coup, keeping it out of FIFA.

PES has Camp Nou but EA has the La Liga license. At this point though, EA basically pays the license fees just to keep Konami out.

They never do enough with the licenses in their own game.

Exclusive deals are stupid for either side, alot like the stupid Porsche crap.
Definitely. Especially if you play on Xbox since you can't download any files onto the game. On PS4 I was able to import 60 stadiums, 200 teams and 12 championship logos and brandings in 10 mins - the Option File options on PES this year are ridiculous. Konami and EA are definitely just signing deals to screw the other over now since they are both still selling enough to justify it.

I've been meaning to ask you about this, what you downloaded makes you have the actual team as in Arsenal not London FC? with actual real kits and stadiums? on the PS4 not PC?

Just wondering how many people will pick this up on release?
I had to pre-order it on XBone for my son and almost reserved myself a PS4 copy. A voice in my head said, "Wait. Not yet," but playing FIFA 15 is getting old with outdated rosters and no roster vault to fix this. I played the 17 demo yesterday and it is a big jump from 15. Much slower, and the players have much more weight and momentum to them. Can't say that I liked it but after the 1st update the game never plays the same as the demo anyway.

Long story short, probably yes.

Yep, on PS4.

Those 2 teams aren't licensed in any form before the option file.

For the first year since Fifa 98, I will not buy Fifa on any Playstation platform (at least for now).

I will however play it on Xbox One, and have already pre-ordered it. Shame we can only play 10 hours (pr profile) on Early Access.

Why not on PS? Well mostly because me and my brother-in-law decided that with the new legends, namely the United legends, we would give it a go on XB1.

I also played a couple thousand matches on Fifa 15 (mostly on PS4, but quite some on XB1). And with my Legends team (and pack-pulled CR7) it was probably the best experience i've had in any Fifa.

Just some throwback pictures in the spoilers if interested. :P

Yes, the win-draw-loss ratio is all online gameplay in Division/Cups.

We are one week out from release. Just a quick note, the game is shown on the PS Store at 32+GB in size right now in standard edition and with no updates. I don't know how big FIFA 16 was but my digital copy of FIFA 15 was only about 15GB.
