Yup. I totally agree. It's going suck hard.

Now something that shouldn't be made a sequel, but I'm really surprised hasn't. Godzilla. I remember walking out of the Cinema when I first saw it, and saying 'There'll be a sequel next year'. That was 8 years ago!
Well they DID leave it open for a sequel, but no announcements yet, which means if there is going to be one, it is at LEAST 3-4 years off

IMDB just lists a Godzilla: 3D to the Max.

$50 says it's like Godzilla 2000. I had my hopes up for nothing with that movie.:grumpy:

Anyone interested in the new film "Inglorious bastards" by Tarrantino?

I've been reading up on it a little, though it's a long way off yet, I like the idea. I've never read the book (or heared of it) before.

Sorry for the double post.
Wow, lot of sequels, strange "movies" and remakes supposedly coming for 2007 reported by IMDB.
American Pie 5: The Naked Mile

Wow, I was wondering if they'd make another one. I don't understand why they counted "Band Camp" As a movie though. :yuck: I sure hope it has the original cast, or I wont bother seeing it.

a Reno 911! movie?!?!?! Oh that would be awesome! That's one of the funniest shows ever!
I can (semi-)verify that they've been filming it; one of my co-workers was an extra in the shooting of a scene.

I hate to say it, but I'm not looking forward to anything of these upcoming movies. Why IMDB wastes their time with what might be or is just Hollywood pillow talk is beyond comprehension.

Sweetness, a Reno 911 movie! I also noticed one of my childhood favourite cartoon show is being made into a movie! Speed Racer FTW!

I'd seriously order cable If this is true. It's not really a sequel, but this isn't either.

I'm looking forward to a few sequels, but don't have high hopes for many of them. Just fun movies that I'll watch on DVD.

It's true. Star Wars itself is, in my opinion, more about the universe than it is the story of the Skywalkers. Even though it's star wars, the writing still has the freedom to suck or be great. It all depends on what they do with it, as shown by the various pieces of Star Wars literature with novels that can suck or be amazing.

Also... Dallas starring Travolta and J-Lo? Great. A scientologist and a whore. What a combination.

They've been talking about the Star Wars television program going to Fox right around the time Episode III was about to debut, but unfortunately the news on the program has been quite limited since it's release. Reportedly it was going to tell the story of what happens between Episode III and IV, about 25 years, and would leave out main characters like Darth Vader and the Skywalker kids.

...As for the Clone Wars program, last I had herd that was to be a series on the Cartoon Network, done like it's predecessors that filled the gap between Episode II and III. I thought those were amazing even for the shorts that they were, as Genndy Tartakovskyand George Lucas really had what they wanted nailed down.

They could do a prequel and set when he's commanding soldiers.

I believe Toho got all pissy with the way the movie turned out and took the rights back.

Cung Le is playing martial law. lol

Looking through this thread, it's funny how many movies came out, how many didn't, and how off some of us were on new sequels.

However, Sin City 2 is on its way, set for 2010. Revealed in a story about Alba starring a new movie, the source revealed that she is returning to Sin City.
An exert....
The 27-year-old is also preparing to reprise her role in a sequel to 2005 movie Sin City.

Oh noes! Not teh DBZzzz!

Favorite movies that I keep hearing about:

- Robocop: A re-launch of the franchise, reportedly moving from Detroit to Los Angeles.
(Um, wut? Robocop is a piece of Michigan pride!)

- Ghostbusters 3: Apparently this is the reason why the Activision game was canceled. I suppose I would prefer it this way, but the deets are slim. Apparently all of the old guys will be back, probably.
(Hey, as long as they don't screw up the theme song, I'll be happy)

- Supermax: This is supposed to be the Green Arrow movie. Apparently we'll see a lot of villains from the DC universe, and apparently it is supposed to fit within the continuity of The Dark Knight.
(I'm not a huge Green Arrow fan, but this one has me interested...)

- Muppet Movie: I hear its going to be done with the "Ap-Pack" (Judd Apatow, Paul Rudd, Seth Rogan, etc), but otherwise there hasn't been any word on what is going on.
(I'm excited! I'm a HUGE Muppet fan, and with the Ap-Pack on the deck, it should be pretty damn funny, not to mention faithful to the history of the Muppets altogether.)

...Apparently there are still talks going on that Voltron will happen, same with the reboot of the Escape From series. They're already starting production on the new Friday the 13th movie, and I hear they're looking to re-boot the Freddie franchise as well...

But, then there is this:

So apparently a short film was made to entice Hollywood producers to finance a new Mortal Kombat movie. Apparently it worked, as IMDb's now got a new Mortal Kombat movie listed for release in 2013.

The short film (feat. Michael Jai White):
