I would give it a 10 just cause its the only FF that ive ever played. The passed FF just didnt apeal to me.

personally, i've played MUCH more then i've watched (over 90 hours now, and i still havn't beaten it). i think the game is quite enjoyable, and if you're not in such a rush to beat it, you will definetly play more then watch.

Most people who hate FFX, will almost always somewhere in their explantion about why they dont like FFX make a remark about FF7 or 8 or 9 or 3 or 6 being far better then 10.
The secret to enjoying these games, is not compare them to another FF. Pretend that it is the first in the series. If all the FF's where the same as FF6 or 7 etc. etc. then it would be downright boring. so expect change.
Back to why i like FFX, i really enjoyed the sphere grid, quite a departure than the standard level up system.

I'd give it about a 9 out of 10. The only reason keeping me from giving it a 10 is the fact that Square threw in that stupid game of Blitzball. I never grasped the concept of it. I mean, why make the game so hard in the beginning that it is not enjoyable? The love story was ok also but I felt it kind of detracted from the main overall plot. I
can't wait for Final Fantasy X-2 though, because it is the first direct sequel to a FF game. I have to agree with space on the sphere grid, it is pretty much why I liked FFX so much.

Here is a pretty good summary of what to expect and what they already know. Seems like the estrogen is going to blow through the roof in this game. It also seems like it will be lacking without Tidus, who was the main character in the last one. Who knows, it might be better than the first one?

Hmm, this is probably why I am now going backwards in FF terms.
I don't think I compared the game to any of the other FF games in the series. I played the game for a few days and for a while I thought it was pretty good. I do like the battle system and the sphere grid is ok (well it is better than FF8's Junctioning anyway) but I just didn't seem to get hooked onto it like othe RPG's I have played, so I just lost interest. Mind you I found most of the characters annoying, mind you this could be true for a few other RPG games that I have played.
My opinion does count, just because I don't like something doesn't mean that you should dissmiss my opinion it. Remember not everyone thinks in the same way. Fair enough I didn't say why but I have now.

Look, by this i mean: while an opinion is your opinion and i should be respected, think about this. Does any FF actually suck? By this i mean are any of them as bad a Superman for the N64 or Driving Emotion Type S for PS2? Does any of the FFs hinder in quality, or is poorly designed with graphics or gameplay. does the game have glitches? Are there typos in the words being said? Is the battle system clunky and hard to play with? Has any FF (excluding FF2, FFXI, and FF tactics) sold less than a million units? Thats what i mean by sucking.

Just because a game sells allot, doesn't mean that it cant totally lick balls. It just shows that the fanbase are overly dedicated and stupid, just buying what they think is a good product wheras it is a mediocre one.
If GT4 was a pile of shat, it would still sell.
I would take FFtactics over FF10 anyday.

why? i have FFVIII and IV, VII, IX, X and FF tactics by the way, all are excellent.
there is an example of this World Baseball 2K1 for DC. It was horrible yet it sold a lot. while i respect your opinion about FFX this trend in FF games has started since FF7, yet the games have been good no matter what. For example:

FF7; what people said: The cyber based world is so stupid! It's not FF! The series is going down the drain.
The truth: the game got good reviews, and was revolutionary in the rpg field.
FF8 complaints: same as 7 about the cyber thing, the junction system was critizied, and the long GF cinemas.
The truth: the GF cinemas were critizied but it was a good game.
FF9; i didn't get this one at all but here goes: I liked the cyber setting i don't like the kingdoms and kings crap!
