Finaly a new Autovista car coming.

So I happened to load up the autovista on forza to day and noticed a new car!
the 2013 Hyundai Veloster turbo. However when I select it a notice pops up saying "This is Exclusive content and can not be purchased at this time"
not the first time DLC showed up in the game for me before release. The IGN pack showed up in my dealer the Friday before it was released.
Not sure if this was announced already, but this is the first I've heard of it.

Yes the Millen Rally Veloster has been added into a DLC pack along with it. I think the cars will be made available for all when or after the exclusive hyundai time-trial has started/finished. Oh, it's available for all NOW. Great.

This I feel is one of the (unseen) advantages of autovista. The Veloster Turbo was only launched to the public today and it seems Hyundai have been clamoring over themselves to have it included in the game so it can be showcased not only in worldwide showrooms, but worldwide Xboxes.

I'm on about the fact a manufacturer (Hyundai) are using Autovista as a showcase and T10 not just adding the mode as a gimmick. The (real world) Veloster Turbo was only unveiled to the public today for them to look at and touch.

If this trend catches on it could many more manufacturers could use the mode as a marketing tool, which benefits us as Forza players with the addition of cars we can drive and get up close and personal with, and also T10 as the automotive game developer to turn to when looking to take on such ventures.

Its kinda odd that they threw that car in Autovista, a mode that has almost all super cars, minus the Bentley and the Halo Warthog. haha

Both these cars feel really good. Only took the Turbo around Maple for one lap in the AV challenge but it feels solid and capable. Took the Rally car around Positano, much fun popping the handbrake at each end of the track.

I mean, after you see one of the cars in AV, what then? How many times you keep going back?

I work at a Hyundai dealer and I've worked on a couple of customer's Velosters. They seem quite customizable which is nice. The one was pretty sporty looking and had nice bucket seats. Course it was an automatic. They are pretty nice looking inside and enough room for me at 6'. Comfortable and seems nice for the limited time I've driven one.
I wish the turbo looked like the regular model. That giant plastic grille is fugly looking.

One and done for me. I don't pay that much attention to autovista. I mess with it to catch Clarkson's comments but really to peek around the car. I mean, I don't have access to any of these cars in real life to do this, do you?

No, I wish. But instead of Autovista, I prefer things like this.





I love the car models in game, but for an in depth look I do prefer real cars. Like I said, I know am the minority.

It's modelling work they will do for the next gen Forzas anyway so not exactly waste resources.
 
Man I just shut down the 360 , TV and lights for the night now you guys got me wanting to go power everything back up. I knew I should have just went straight to bed and not came here. As if I ever went straight to bed and not came here. Well there are times.... that's for another forum.

So is the Veloster only an Autovista car or can it be driven in the game, too? (don't tell me it's just like the Bentley)

Bad news for autovista. No JC in the audio. Only the main narrating guy.

Well I got first pics and video of rally version coming soon. Think I'll be paying big bucks to fix the suspension in this car according to this pic. lol
