Finally finished switching from Xbox to a proper gaming PC, also made good use of my old Galaxy S8+ and an old phone holder as a dash, SimHub is awesome. Had the bracket 3D printed for like $30 at Xometry.

that really is a compact and clean looking setup! i applaud you mate, nicely done!

how old is your Podium base? i still have my protection stickers on it too.

i am really digging your color scheme! i like the blue stickers you put on the base fitting perfectly to the stripes on the profiles and the seat! 👍 i plan to cover my profiles spaces later too.

one thing i learned the last 3 month: a sim rig is never finished!

you stay safe and maybe you want to check out my own build here... https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/thre...pits-pedals-wheels-master-list.239878/page-32

Cheers! I've been building this rig and constantly adding to it and modifying it for the past two years +. I kind of just kept the blue/black theme going since I bought the cheap racing seat. First I noticed dust getting into the profile channels so I bought a bunch of blue dust guards that ended up looking pretty good. I also do vehicle vinyl wraps on the side, so I figured I'd use some left-over blue to carry on with the theme and wrap the three DD1 side covers to match. My DD1 is a little over a year old now. Hardware-wise there's not much further I can take it except a motion platform and VR. I absolutely love this Odyssey G9 monitor, the super-wide 32:9 aspect ratio is perfect for sim racing and probably costs less than going with triples, and no bezels to deal with. I'm starting to get the VR itch though so will probably explore that sometime soon. You're right, it never does end, that's what I like about this hobby (apart from being very expensive). I enjoy building it just as much as driving on it. I'll check out your rig, take care!

I see you went with Sim-Lab gear as well, I absolutely love them. I went with the GT1-Evo and couldn't be happier with it. I get my orders from them in like two days and I live in Los Angeles, amazing. Their customer service is really good, and they always include the mounting hardware with all their accessories. I see you do CAD work too. I am a design engineer and have 20+ years of CAD experience. It definitely comes in handy with this hobby, I have designed and 3D printed a few items already. I actually designed my own 8020 rig initially, but once I priced out all the parts, it was cheaper to just buy it from Sim-Lab.
