A VQ in an SE-R Sentra...that's definitely drool-worthy. I love it!

Thanks for the great answers! JCE, I'm debating betwen the svt focus and the 1997 taurus sho. the svt is what ill probaly get!

No problem. When you get ready to buy and have chosen to get the SVT Focus let me know and I'll steer you towards some massive amounts of information about it on what to look out for and what you can do with it (if you want). The 1st gen SHO is might fantastic too. Just get a manual.

My 2 cents is get a 240SX man. EVERYONE knows how to fix em, parts are dirt cheap and a half, it can drift unlike FWD crap, and overall its a fun entry level car. Else, maybe a miata.

 Yea, right. Tell my tail-happy Focus that. Ever heard of lift off oversteer, the Scandinavian flick or the e-brake? It's about skill more than what wheels drive the car. There are RWD cars that cannot drift if their life depended on it. Just FYI.

I just want to see where he's finding an SVT Focus for $4k.

A couple of the Focus forums often sell ones in the $4k range. Also, some of the older owners of these cars may not actually know what they're worth. I've seen some on craigslist go for $4k in good enough nick to be a daily driver.

Example #1 of a car in the $4k range.

Front wheel drive can't drift? Tell that to the Sentra tester I had last month. It didn't want to do anything but drift. Roundabout. Lift-off. Drift. Countersteer. Turn. Lift-off. Drift. Countersteer. Back to roundabout. Lift-off. Drift. Lift-off. Drift. Lift-off. Drift. Lift off... and that's on stock tires with the CVT-equipped 2.0.

Now why couldnt' they do that 15 years before when they built my 200SX? >:

Craigslist is where i'm finding all these deals. more like 6k for one under 100k miles, which is ok, cause my parents will pitch in some.
