I'm looking forward to this. I've never played a WRC game but will be picking this one up in September.

From what I gather you play your career mode as an actual WRC driver. I'd like to have the ability to create my own driver instead.

Well, in WRC7-7 you are able to make a career as full fledged pro or start from the junior ranks and up.

It's definitely not as in depth as say, pCARS 2's Career Mode but it's there and hope to see it again on WRC-8.
