note : nothing to add
Tune looks good, need the second set of tires for the second track.

@Lionheart2113 yep plenty of room for testers. Testing officially starts on June 5th. What's classes would you like to torture err have a blast driving?

@Otaliema Sign me up as a tester for the Street Spec class please
(Is it ok to test for a class I am participating in? I'm assuming I leave my car out of it when doing the tests?)
@DolHaus ours perfectly fine to test your own class.
I think you should still give lap time and driver choice because it would make the averages not come out right I believe.

I have no problem doing it if that works best for the system. I will wipe my current times and re-run my car in the same fashion as the others somewhere in the middle order so I'm no longer so acquainted with my tune. I think I can remain impartial enough when scoring, not looking to bolster my own score by unfair means.

If there are any objections or problems then by all means let me know 👍

I tested both classes that I participated in in the Hot Hatch challenge. Treat your tune like it is someone else's tune. Test other cars before yours to get further away from knowing it. If you don't test it will mess up the scoring. Be as honest as possible is all you can do. Look at the Hot Hatch challenge and check the reviews, @Otaliema and @jules283 also tested the own cars.

I've been driving my Street Racer solidly for the last few days so I've already forgotten how the Spec car feels (a life of contact sports and poor decisions means my memory is patchy at best of times lol). It would almost certainly take me more than the allotted number of test laps to hit the same peak times.

Just thought I'd make sure

My doctor has me on medication to help with my memory. It's also good for helping control something else but I forget what :dopey:

So get this. I build a tune for Stowe in the rain and I absolutely hate the tune. I give up on tuning for the rain, take the rain tune over to Autumn Ring and it is absolutely fantastic! Go figure.
I found Stowe to be frustrating to say the very least, gave up on it in the end as I found I just wasn't getting any faster no matter what was done to the car.
Short of fitting a rudder and an outboard, I don't think there's a way of getting past the constant aquaplaning

Then you will do just fine Sir:tup:

Edit: And now @Motor City Hami lets the truth out and tuners around the (GT)Planet begin to shutter.:dopey::lol::P A 3, really?

Yeah I find that testing my car at the end, and give it a score compared to the rest of cars if the same model helps keep me objective, and by driving it at the end I've basically forgotten how to drive it and I have to give it 5 laps to learn it again. And you have to test your own car or it skews the results.

That worries me a tad bit :scared: Jay maybe a new tuning method had been found. Tune it wet than fine tune it dry. 💡

Correct.

In other news. Combined times for me so far
Racers; 2:21.xxx
Rally: 2:13.xxx
Average times
Racers 2:21.xxx
Rally 2:15.xxx dang dirt track

My Street Racer tune for Stowe is about a 3 on driver's choice.

To be fair, you are and will always be your own harshest critic! I'm sure it's better than most and that you are just being a perfectionist!

Otaliema, can you put me down for spec street tuner and street racer? I'd request for all three, but with my rally skills, or lack of, I wouldn't feel comfortable giving DC points or bringing down everyone's lap times.

@Lionheart2113 will do.
I totally understand the lack of rally skills mine are lacking as well, but never gonna get better if you don't drive it. ;)

I'll get a Google doc made up for the results on Monday. @Motor City Hami I might be dropping you a line for some help on it, still learning Google docs -_- not as similar to excel as I would have expected.

@SDsnakebutt contacted me via pm, requesting to join the fight.
So please welcome him to the spec street tuner class. He has been assigned to tune a STi for the challenge. Good luck sir and welcome to your first FITT challenge.

👍 Thank You @Otaliema! Sorry for the late notice, I appreciate being able to join in with all you guys. Being a beginner tuner I have always kept my eye on the FITT challenges and can't wait to apply a lot of the things i have learned here at the tuning forum. There is even a few people in this challenge that have Help me a ton along the way.
 Good luck to everyone and Thank you!
