I think the hondas are pretty balanced, the new ones are pretty quick but the old ones could be better
So very true. The main thing with FF cars is how willing is the back end to come around at key points if the turn. At Monaco the uphill is important but the gains are in the twisty bits and hair pin.

Deadlines:
Tunes are due Sunday, May 10 at midnight, wherever midnight is in your part of the planet. I tend to wake up around 6:30 am Eastern Standard Time so pretty much have your tune posted before I get to the computer on Monday morning.

Test driver results are due Sunday, May 24th at midnight, wherever midnight is in your part of the planet. Testing is to be done in time trial mode using ABS1 and grip reduction set to real. Please post your results and feedback within this forum.
Crikey! 22 tunes to test already, multplied by 10 laps each is nearly 3 monaco GPs to drive!

Any chance of another week to test and/or once you`ve posted your tune is final?

Beat me to the punch on split compound
Sound like extreme settings time
I'm not sure there's any gain to be found in it as the car struggles to pivot properly on the less grippy rubber but you get crazy entry angle, its like driving a drift car until you stamp on the throttle and it straightens up

@Motor City Hami Is @OdeFinn on your ignore list? If so he would like to sign up and also asked if dual-plate clutches were allowed on the 450pp spec modern cars?

Yes. @OdeFinn is on my ignore list.

There is an old saying. "You are only as good as the company that you keep." I am not sure why he would want to join a competition hosted by me. If I am seen as such a clueless wreck and FITT is seen as a bunch of idiot followers and no talent hacks, then why would he want to join us? This is a competition for tuners or for glitch tuners as critics would say. If the Replica crowd wants a tuning competition with ABS zero, it seems to me that they could easily create one. Look, I have stayed out of their world for more than ten months yet I still get mentioned like once a week on nextgen. I have no issues with anyone who wants to build replicas. They can play the game any way they want to play the game. So, I am not sure why they have such a problem with me playing the game the way I want to. This is a tuning competition that will allow for tuners to use any means provided by the game developers to make the car as fast as possible, whether it meets real world logic or not. I am sure that this will make today's headlines over at nextgen.

You have just put words in to my mouth what I have never said.
Don't judge me for someone because of some other person.

I have written once to you, and if that is your reason to deny my contribution to this event I'm totally astonished.

"Nice to see at you have started to use camber! 👍:gtpflag:" - this is all what I have ever said...

You really want to join that badly, yet also take a shot at me with that camber comment. You have no idea how or why I am using camber now. I did my own testing and found a method that works for me - and not by "adding grip."

Maybe take this to PM and not cloud up my event with a bunch of BS? An apology for liking posts that directly bash me might be a good start.

@Motor City Hami, my likings on NGU are not because of any rant of writer, only because information. I filter out all personal BS there, not my fight, not my war. Hoping at this clears you about me. I'm purely interested in information and sharing of it.

Tuner please. Sub 1:56.xxx's with the 400pp, I'm eyeing up another 1/2 second, and yes I took off the parachute. :(
You may want to reinstall it going at that sort of pace. :)

1:56 in the 400pp?? I'm just into the 55s at 450pp
I am not too far behind you right now.. Still got some work to do on my tune though. I hope that I can somehow catch up to Lionheart though. If not, ill just be going for DC scores :)

Cool. Then we have no issues. Sincere apology for misunderstanding your stance on me and FITT. I will remove you from the ignore list and add you to the competition. I think that you will find that the FITT group likes hanging out together in these competitions because we respect each other. @DolHaus and I have different approaches yet both are capable of building fast tunes. We can disagree on how to get there and still have a ton of respect for each other. I think you will find that here.

I'm sure once you boys keep at it during your tuning, you'll be right there if not passing me! The "Big Brother" still needs to be tuned. I'll keep his time secret for now.:mischievous:

I'm going to have to take a look at some other cars, I know you're faster than me and I know I'm leaving some time on the track but that still doesn't add up to 4 seconds
