Player with a bad connection was causing issues. Pretty much everyone in the lobby couldn’t see him at one point. I was stuck on the grid cause of it in the first race and didn’t even get to make a lap. So that’s something else to figure out. I may be one of the slow guys, but what do you do in that instance that a guy is there but can’t race cause of something like that.

No one had trouble seeing him except you and damon84c. It still needed to be handled a bit better but you could have helped by resetting your router (like I asked you multiple times) and PS4 in case that was part of the problem. We can always just scrap the week with the lowest points and then you don't have to worry about this week counting.

Drop round is already in place.

So a one thing.

Silver room was fairly behind schedule, mainly because of an occurrence of an anomaly that when a player with a bad/weak/sketch internet connection was affecting other racers in the room. Please for the good of the series please make sure you internet connection is up to snuff before coming to race, PD servers are not the greatest, especially for us lobby series peasants because the FIA races are taking the bulk of the server space.

Other wise, eventful day of racing. Won a race. The car I prepped won ST2 (in ST3 trim) at the NASA Nationals, and the IndyCar finale is about to be watched on the DVR while monitoring the Saints game. Today is a good day.

Announcement:
Results from Autopolis will be posted shortly. Point standings have been updated. As you can see they have been combined and from Red Bull forward we will be running in a single room. At this time, I need everyone tagged below to let me know their status with this series. If I do not hear from you by the morning of the 29th, I will assume you have decided not to participate and you will be removed from the registration.

With that said, something I was going to use for the next season I have decided to implement now: the buddy system. If you are registered and are not sure if you can participate in every round, you can partner with another driver to take your place for the rounds you are missing. The two of you will earn points together towards the championship. If you would like to do this, please let me know that you would like to participate and with whom.

Drivers who are currently active in the series:
Notified of non-participation:
@Lost Sheltie @Phlano099 @Doodle @Yeratel84

No-show without notification:
@cnd01 @TrentDog1 @GTP_Guido @Mtran82 @trigun7469

Connection/equipment issues:
@janwlen82 @GTPorsche

Including me, we have 15 "Active" drivers as of the first round with 16 spots available in a room. (Why not 20 like the FIA rooms PD?!? :rolleyes:) With our currently registered numbers, there may be a few that won't be able to race unfortunately as-is. Unless some of you partner up and take turns each weekend. I'll leave that up to you. We can discuss this more as the week goes along. If anyone has any ideas I am all ears. :)

Great racing in Gold room today! Lots of close stuff and passing was definitely a thing. Congrats to @GT_Alex74 for the sweep! Wasn't easy for him, definitely a great effort. Glad to see @R1600Turbo it still quite a cunning and quick driver, been too long since we've raced! Definitely check out the replays he's shared guys, they're great races.

Looking forward to RBR!

I won't lose a race on the championship! Definetely in. About xD4nyP4nYx: he joined yesterday's qualifying but he couldn't join the races. So the fact is:
If the player list is full, don't let him race, as he will lose some other races probably. If instead there are some free spots, put him in the championship, because he will join the 60% of the races, let's say.

I don’t know about next week, I’m not going to take a spot if the room is full, but I might show up, and I know with absolutely certainty I’m going to miss the final round, but other than that I should be good

@R1600Turbo , they probably won't add Spa-Francorchamps to GT, or at least not before the race we must do. So I would like you to put Autodromo Nazionale Monza on the calendar if not. That would be my home race, with the Tifosi supporting me! :cheers::D:D

I’d rather use DT Seaside myself, but it seems like we’re only using real tracks in this series. :)

Actually I vote Sardgena, Monza would be a snooze fest in these cars

Sardegna is cool, not like Dragon Trail, but I don't think Monza will be a snoozefest. There are some corners like Variante Ascari or the first chicane which are really a challenge. That's @R1600Turbo 's choice anyway. Sardegna is cool too.
