Football vs. American "Football"?

My only conclusion then is that soccer has more fans who don't have a regular place to go to get information.

My conclusion is that soccer simply has more fans. It's pretty much a world loved sport, there's a professional football league in so many more countries than where American football is played it's not really comparable. Even on this American website, football has over twice as many votes as American football. Ofcourse, that's not to say football is a better sport or anything because thats personal, it is to me but not to you. But any comprisons made regarding popularity are just going to tilt in the favour of football. It reaches a much wider audience and it played professionally all over the world, even many african countries, I don't know any places in Africa with an American football league.
