wow some of you guys, are real snobby here huh?...(im the op by the way)...let me just say, i was giving advise to the people who are finding it dificult to control the car, you know people who are not experts like you. im not an expert myself by any means, i enjoy gran turismo. why are some people so serious? (e.g. 80Y)...i was simply giving a post to people who are finding this demo hard.
i think cakefoo understood exactly what i meant. this 80Y guy is far too serious, can i just say not everyone is as good as him in gran turismo (assuming hes the expert in gran turismo that is)...
if you want my personal opinion of the demo. i like it, its more testing, teaching me better throttle control, timing, steering etc...i made this thread because someone new to gran turismo may be completely put of by this amount of realism, it may just be too hard for them and they may want to give up.
when i meant when i said 'the real game wont be as 'hard' and the game will be more like a game' is that this is a time trial played in ONLY professional physics, it has been designed in a competition format, it is not designed for the casual gamers.
lol i have not played gran turismo 5, but im about 99% sure you will be able to change it to standard physics which means the game will be easier to play as a result. gran turismo is a game that has always appealed to casual and simulation fans, and there is no reason why it should stop.
bottom line: to the people that are finding this demo hard (and there are people out there, probably does not include 80Y lol)...they should not worry too much, in gran turismo 5, you will have the option to use standard physics, which will make it easier. and this is in no way a reflection of me finding the game dificult, its just a post for people who are experiencing dificulty...gee why are people so serious?...
