This will probably be the only car I ever post a setup for. I'm a bit of a one trick pony but I've been doing pretty well in the current Fuji 750pp event, using this tune and I figured I might as well post it.

This setup will beat anything except a GT-R but, even then, you at least get that satisfaction that comes with knowing you actually had to drive around the track

This is a personal taste setup, a little bit loose to suit my style of driving. There are easier to drive 06's out there but none are this much fun. It's based around a hybrid of Dutch Customs and TLD, heavily tweaked, so thank to Holden and NLxArosa for doing the groundwork for me.

Not as often. Needs to be very well set up and very well driven. I don't mind losing to an RWD, tho, that counts in my book, 4wd's don't - if I finish behind six GT-R's then I'm first as far as I'm concerned.

If I remember correctly, you drive a yellow one right? Atleast I saw you in a yellow one last time I was racing... I was in a black Mine's GTR... and yes that thing is fast... such a pity I got punted at turn 2... I never caught up to you anymore after that... LOL....

I have all the colours but I mostly drive yellow and red (with stripes) or my plain black one. I recognise your nick, I'm sure I've seen you around. The Mines seems just a tiny bit slow to put up much of a fight on Fuji although I have had a few good tussles with them, especially round sector 3.

Well, that REALLY depends on the setup.... I have a thread as well with a tune for the Mines and Fuji, which has changed again.. and after discussing the tune with Mines_GTR, he brought to my attention that HP doesnt need to be high for a fast lap. So now the PP is lower than 750 and most of the time I start out up front... and I must say the thing GOES like stink... if I dont get punted off I can usually get up in the top 5 or 3.... Another factor though, is the fact that Im just not good at Fuji... I cant deal with the late apexes properly.... so my lap times are slow... I was getting 1.40s with the Mines while Mines_GTR was getting 1.38s and 1.37s with my tune... so it is a contender, but you need a good tune and start out at the front or middle of the grid.. in the beginning with the new update I couldnt get my tune right and it was really slow... but with some time and tinkering I managed to make a good tune out of it

HAhAaH I wish I could do 1.37s... nah those are Mines_GTR's (formerly GTP_L_Hamilton) times... not mine... I was also like WOW... you can get those times and I get a measly 1.40 or 1.41... WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?!?! LOL

Yea i had my own GT running quite well, not touching my under 1:37.5 (1.37.3xx best in both) Mines BNR and Viper/Tuned on the turns but the grunt makes up for it, in a race situation its quite close.

But try the GTLM i can go under the magic 1:37 with that and if you can use the normal GT i'm sure you can get your claws into the LM to p3nt (and other 06 users or potential users)

I swore by the LM spec on suzuka but since they made the 06 competitive with the last update I been using that exclusively. I'm a bit of a purist

Yea, i've been trying out the Corvette and things for fun, lost interest in winning.

The 06 is much more fun imo mainly because of that sound

Glad you liked the gearing on the DC GT '06. I gave your setup a go and it's easily up there with the rest, very good setup! 👍 I hope there is some use for this car in the new events. (But I wouldn't mind an 800PP Pro event for the GTLM and Viper/Tuned either )
