Another sporty Ford sedan that I felt like suggesting for GT.

I still think it would be an alright suggestion for GT, but not for the same reason as before. It's more of part of wanting to drive a normal sedan around a race track for fun like with my suggestion for the Ford Fusion.

I have the same exact car parked in the garage.. It's just like riding in a Focus RS.

Or, a coked-out Protege, which has the same motor as that car, which is in GT.
(It's the exact same color, wheels and details as niky 's avatar.. :sly:)

The funny thing, really, is that very first picture is my car. (I photoshopped the license plates, obviously).

Was it really that sporty? I always thought it was just purely cosmetic changes like the Mugen and Spoon kits Honda Phils. are giving.

Nevertheless, +1!

I don't know, I don't even remember suggesting this now (and I kinda regret it).
I guess what happened was that it was a sedan I just learned about and got excited over it due to the blasted RS badge. It still looks kinda nice I guess, but that's it.

I find it silly though that Ford didn't do anything with the lynx when making a RS model.

It's basically a Mazda Protege MP3. A 140 horsepower variant of the 130 hp 2.0. Suspension is somewhat stiffer and better sorted than standard, but not quite the Koni suspension on the MP3. It's not all that quick in a straight line (0-60 mph in about eight seconds) but on the racetrack, it's quite good... able to pace lighter compacts with better power-to-weight ratios due to its good suspension, fantastic steering and grip.

It's an awful like the Mazdaspeed Familia / SP20 already in Gran Turismo. They're basically the same car with different sheet metal. But the FSDE is less peaky and has more useful torque than the FSZE, and the Mazda variant in Gran Turismo comes with the stupid auto tranny.

Having seen AU cars removed, I can heartily get behind any that could be included.
