Ford Mustang Reveal in December

I'd have to imagine Ford would consider doing that nothing more than a "me-too" marketing stunt after GM already did the same.
 
I would be suprised if a concept car of the 2015 Mustang or the 2015 Mustang is not added in GT6, either through add-ons or release.
 
If they're planning on a reveal in GT6, they should start building some hype around it pretty soon. If they're not going to promote it in one way or another, then I don't think it will be happening.

Really why? Pretty much all the new late model Mustangs have been ignored since GT2 so I am not holding my breath that anything will change.

An entire thread dedicated to one car that has not one iota of evidence to say it will be in GT6 sounds like it belongs on a wishlist...and it does.

I agree, both Ford and PD have not said a single word about a GT6 reveal, and given PDs lackluster showing of new Mustangs in previous GT games its a wish. I would love to see it happen but its a long shot.
 
Aww, I got slightly excited when I saw "Ford Mustang Reveal in..." Until I realized it was just something the OP had wished for. :( Ahh oh well. :P

Not sure I am wishing for it just thought it was something interesting. Sorry for all that feel this should have gone in the wish list. Oh well next time I will not bother posting.

Maybe we should leave the "isn't there a thread for this already?" and "there are threads for these and this thread shouldn't have ever existed" posts for the real mods. Not telling anyone what to do. It's only a suggestion and observation.

Unless, are suggestions only for administrators and handpicked mods to be made?
If so, then I am way out of line. Excuse me.

Oh, my apologies for misunderstanding. Not that I was disappointed or anything, so no worries. :) It will be awesome if this Ford Mustang you've posted was revealed in GT6.

It should be in the interest of everyone to keep a clean and organized forum. After all, the guidelines aren't made up just for the sake of having guidelines - they're there for a reason.
 
I have to be honest and say I get moderately excited when a new subject crops up. Makes me want to read it. Many of the longer threads become circular argurments or are full of repetition due to people not having the time to read 100 pages.

New threads now and again is attractive to some people.

If there are too many restrictions they can obstruct decent discussion.

What decent discussion can you get over a single car that hasn't been released to the public, no one has driven, and it's not in any GT game, which this forum is supposed to be about?

Seroiusly, the amount of times penso acts like the mod on the GT6 forums, considering many of these threads don't end up being locked or forgotten, is ridiculous. I leave it to the mods to determine the best course of action, who actually have the authority to do so...

Sorry guys I didn't decide anything. I was just playing devils advocate. I wasn't necassarily commenting on the merits of this thread, merely saying how excited I get when I see something new. i think it's probably done and dusted now and can disappear into the annals of GTP legend ;)

Not for me to make the decision but there's no harm in pointing out the obvious. GTP is a great site partly because it's not cluttered up with duplicate and overlapping threads. I just thought I'd point out that threads about real cars that aren't in the game and haven't even been released to the public usually end up in the wishlist or in the motoring section. If a thread were created about every car everyone wants to see in the game there would be literally hundreds of them, all talking about nothing to do with GT6 because it doesn't exist yet. If I'm wrong the thread will go on, but if you're going to yell out my name I'm going to respond. If you want to keep it private feel free to PM me. 👍

I did not infer sameness my friend, I was just answering the assertion in the quote above my response.

Yeah, wrong like this. There's nothing wrong with redirecting people, but the fact is that you do it so abruptly makes you look like a backseat mod more than anything.
As for your comment about responding when your name is called, don't even think about making me look like an idiot and a bully and you look like a victim over something insignificant.
