i heard that the lambo has a tendancy to take-off the ground, has anyone watched Apocalypse clarkson on UK Horizons, the GT-40 i think is by far the better car, i've seen its spec and racing history is excellent winning race after race, after race.

That is true the body would actually fly off the car when it reached 180MPH thats why Faricio made the choice not to race it and look bad in front of ferrari. The later model Miura didnt have the problem of the body flying off.

the gt 40 is a mix between ford and ferrari
ferrari made body and ford the engine.

ford was looking for a champion chip in the u.k so they contac carol shelby to made a real good motor. ( and he made it )

in april 1964 the seatle circuit was closed for the gt-40 test.

february 1965 gt-40 mark II win at le mans.

june 1966 a trio of gt-40 mark IIs cross the line of le mans in 1,2,3 places.

june 1967 gt-40 win at le le mans .( was IV GT-40)

june 1968 win at le manns.
