Ford Shelby GR-1 Concept

I actualy like the looks of this car. Whoever said it was a bit like FordGT and Aston Martin was right IMO, looks like a GT and the front looks a bit Vanquish.

-EDIT: Actualy i think it's the wheels that make me think of the Vanquish.

Yep is has to be the wheels, theres no hint of Vanquish in the lights, front intake or overall shape.

The GR-1 Concept isn't so bad, I would buy one if I had the money, and if it went in to production. I like blue stripes on a silver car, which they did.

If I had the money I'd buy a DB9 instead. The most beautiful car in the world and one you can live with and have fun with at the same time, pure class.

If I had the money, I'd have a lot of cars, including:

2005 Acura NSX
2004 Acura TSX
2003 BMW M5
2003 Nissan Maxima SE
2005 Chevrolet Corvette C6
1996 Chevrolet Impala SS
2000 Bentley Continental
2004 Bentley Continental GT
2005 Mercedes-Benz S500 AMG
2005 Ford GT
1992 Ford Mustang Cobra 5.0
1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500

I like it.
It sorta looks like the Ford Pantera of 1973 to some degree.

To me, they look similar, just a newer version of the Pantera.

I think they're trying to look like this car too much:

Sorry if the pic came from a toy.

What do you mean, they're trying too hard to look like a Shelby Cobra Daytona? The entire POINT of the GR-1 is to be a modern Shelby Cobra Daytona, hence why the car is a Ford SHELBY GR-1.

The GR-1 is a modern Cobra Daytona, just like the Ford GT is a modern GT40. It's that simple.

If they wanted to make a MODERN Shelby Cobra Daytona...Why didn't they cal it the Ford Shelby Modern Day Cobra Daytona...And not the GR-1...........Untill I hear a design lead say "we wanted to make a modern day cobra daytona" it will be a ball of crap with design cue's
