I am not looking for huge amounts of drivers, I am looking for a few people that, along with others want to join in racing Muscle cars :dopey:
When we get a few drivers dates will be announced on the races, depending on what suits everyone.

I like this idea.

600+ hp would be a little too much for comfort tires. Camaro also only goes to 565hp.

Are you planning on running these cars stock except for the trans?

Consider having ABS off since none of these cars ever had ABS.

Why not include the Challenger?

I personally love racing these old cars. Unfortunately, most people who do race these cars, want to run Daytona Superspeedway all day long every day.

I am thinking of making them sports hard, if you prefer?
Also is the challenger spec wise simular?

If this does happen I'd love to participate. I think running the cars stock would be best, but that's just my preference

I'm watching this one to see where it goes. Love the car choices.

Car Regulations:
Tuning: Prohibited (615 BHP limit)
(transmission is allowed to be changed to increase top speed)
Allowed: oil change, engine rebuild, chassis restoration, wheel rims, & paint
(comfort medium tires)

When tuning prohibited is turned on online, the only things allowed are oil change, brake bias and engine repair.

That leaves two possibilities:

1) allow all changes within certain bhp / kg / pp limits.
2) allow only transmission change and count on honesty of all drivers.

About the tyres: 615 bhp on comfort mediums: might be scarry

Well said. I was thinking the same thing. I don't know if I like counting on the honesty of other drivers. If you allow for one thing, then you have to allow anything.

Another option would be to run smaller tracks that don't have long straights so you don't need the trans gearing and can prohibit tuning all together.

The problem is that only Tsukuba and karting tracks are short enough for the standard gearbox.

Laguna Seca would work too.
Autum ring
Couple of the Cape Rings
London
Rome
Madrid mini
Maybe Trial Mt.?

Gearboxes would top out towards the ends of the longer straights, but do-able.

This seems easiest
1) allow all changes within certain bhp / kg / pp limits.

but I will make it close so changes are not major

and oh yes if everyone prefers, we can use sports hard if comfort mediums are to scary?

Would:
Thursday 12th April 20:00 BST 14:00 CST 19:00GMT

Suit everyone?

I didn't know this would be an international deal. Maybe Sunday?

I must saty I'm a bit surprised (Madrid mini has a long straight, f.e.), but I will try to do some testing this weekend.

This is how the races seem to look at the moment
