Last played GT5. Eventually stopped because all I cared about was tuning cars, which meant I had to grind. I already lost all interest before Seasonals came around.

Heard GT6 wasn't much and that GT7 had already been announced back then. The initial plan was to skip to GT7.

To answer the real question, no. I'm here for a few other things, but not Gran Turismo anymore.
The same goes for me, basically. Dropped GT5 (after the seasonals were released, though), didn't look back since then. I'm still keeping my eyes on the franchise, but GT6 didn't offer what I was looking for. Might get back into it with GT7, just like @AOS- said. I'm playing other genres in the meantime.

As for GTP, the vast majority of my posts has probably been made outside the GT-related subforums, anyway, so there's never been a reason for me to leave GTP.

Never owned GT6 but I'm getting interested in GT7 though. Wonder when it's going to be released.

Not even Midfield is enough to get me into it again. I thought it would be, but no...just waiting for PCars.

Haven't touched GT6 for more than a year. I rather put my time on other titles and other things. However I don't dislike GT. I'm actually looking forward to what GT7 will deliver, and if Kaz will actually fix the problems both GT5 and 6 had, I'll buy it.

I check it out every time an update lands but that's it. I played Midfield for about an hour and haven't touched it since.

Built a PC last month and have been playing Assetto Corsa mainly. Before that, Midfield kept my interest in GT6 for maybe 3 or 4 days. I may play GT6 again if/when the course maker is ever released, but it's not looking likely. Even just AC has plenty of mods to keep me occupied, and the content that came with the stock game is just great as well. Still have Rfactor/Rfactor2 and Project CARS to try along with that,

So it's not very likely I'll be playing GT anytime soon. Unless GT7 is truly amazing, with a tire model that makes sense, physics that make sense, no half-baked and unreleased promised features, the classic GT2-4 tracks that made me love GT in the first place, and so on.

try iracing as well ;)

Or buy a real car, it will cost you almost the same :D
you get what you pay for in life.
Ask yourself, why do some many "professional" racers use iRacing?
To be honest, pay 80 bucks for a "sim" which 2 years later "STILL" has delivered all promised content.
Or pay 300 buck for a "sim" which does everything it promises.

Well the pro's play with games like Raceroom, SCE and AC too and they are 10 times as cheap as Iracing. 15 bucks for a single circuit or car? No thanks :)

I did play GT6, when it was still 'relative' in the sim-racing scheme of things, with it's 'new' physics and 'new' handfullselection of cars. But it ultimately proved to be less than GT5 content-playability wise.

-Then broken promises :indiff:
-And the numerous issues
-And the pokerface-treatment of the Q&A :grumpy:

After that, I started looking into joining the PC Master Race with it's plethora of race-sims, you know, true sims, and it wasn't long after I made the jump, and experienced what real simulators have to offer.

I haven't, and don't plan to go back anytime soon, especially knowing the latest update breaks more of the game
