Monster laps from Charles and Sergio, jeez.

Ooh, both Mercs and ATs in the mix?

Hope Lando and Daniel can nab some points.

Please no helmet cam porpoising. I have no idea how the drivers can stomach that violent bouncing. 🤢

Caught this on the subreddit.

Based on this, guess I'm gonna say Max gets pole & the win, & Charles sets the fastest lap.
Let's go with a repeat of prior year.

Though it will depend on the start and if Leclerc can keep the lead by getting a gap on the bulls. Otherwise it will be between Max and Sergio for the win.

Perez has now complained about team decisions twice in 2 races...

Both drivers on fairly long contracts too... hoping for another Hamilton vs rosberg situation here to add fuel to the fire, if leclerc can convert some of these poles to wins then we may have a 3 way fight for the title for the whole season 😁

Max just needs a slightly better exit from the last corner and he should get Leclerc. He lost almost 3 tenths last lap there

Virtual Safety Car following Sainz's stopped car. LeClerc and others pit.

A great strategy call... From Ferrari? Wow. Unless Leclerc's car also fails, he's going to get an easy win.

Not really.
He has to do 42 laps on the set of tires.
If RB can last a few more laps on the mediums, their hards will be fresher towards the end.

Unless we get a safety car.

Bad strategy call from Mercedes. Stacking Hamilton ended up costing a few places. I guess we'll see in the end.

Fresh enough to bridge a 10-15 second gap? If not more? And Perez has already lost all his pace on this tyres, so the "advantage" will only be a handful of laps.

EDIT: Perez is 18 seconds behind with a 6 second stop. Leclerc is winning this race with ease unless a full on safety car comes out right now.
