A mistake that Lewis didn’t make, and hasn’t made all season. Which is why Lewis has beaten Bottas 10-2 on Saturday and 9-1 on Sunday this year. And why he’s so far behind in points that Lewis could DNF twice whilst Bottas wins both races and STILL be ahead of Bottas. yeah, “useless”.Yeah, P3 after doing a wheelie at turn 2, so useless. P3 may as well be pole on this track with the run to T2.
Does anyone have footage of this "wheelie" that Bottas did or is that a figure of speech? Also apparently Max had a massive tow from Bottas on his quali lap. That explains why he was able to split the Mercs. Still a mega lap from Hamilton though, especially on one of Bottas' better tracks.
However, the polesitter is at a disadvantage here because of the tow and with Hamilton on softer tyre if he isn't in the lead by T2 he could be on the backfoot strategy wise. So everything still to play for.
Also somewhat OT, but watching the Nurb 24h rain chaos makes me excited for when F1 goes back there later this year
Because
Wishing penalties on a driver who hasn't actually (yet) done anything worth punishing this weekend counts as wishing incident upon a certain driver. So what if Lewis is winning anything, actively calling for him to have a misfortune, of his fault or not, isn't exactly the brightest thing to do.
What about Magnussen and Grosjean, though?!Ocon blinding start!
Vettel and Schumi have french flags
I was thinking the same, wouldn't be surprised if he gets a penalty for thatMinor thing but shouldn't Magnussen have started last since all cars had passed him before he got going? Or did that rule change?
X2+5second penalty for lewis
Yep. 10 second penalty.Wait, he has 2 penalties?
