Hey guys, PD just released their update schedule for 2.08 and I wanted to go over a few things.

If you haven't read what the update entails yet, there are some changes that may affect setups. PD has said GT5 online will go down on Tuesday, but it shouldn't interfere with the comp. However, I don't know how big the update is or how long it will take. Some people's internet is slower than others.

So, with all of this in mind, there is a chance I will delay this round until the following Tuesday. But I will have to wait and see how everything goes and how many people it effects so it will be a last minute call.

I don't think it will be an issue. I check the time for the update in my time zone and it said that it was going to happen at 10PM CT on Monday.

If its EST it starts tomorrow at 11pm. Keep an eye out for edit.
Edit: and says it only lasts an hour. Most you'll have to worry about are those vehicles with aero. Besides that FD3 @ Daytona should be a go! ;3 No im not in FD3 but it sure is interesting to watch!

2.08 update is live right now. It's a pretty small download so we should be good for tomorrow as long as it doesn't significantly change setups/physics. We should all know by now we never know what new bugs a GT5 patch brings

Are you still running aero? They adjusted the way downforce and drag affect the car. That could be it unless you have ride height changes. I have yet to test with the new update.

Anyone else experiencing undesired changes?

No. for some reason all my cars fell the same or a lil better.

I've noticed that there is a majorly reduced amount of understeer. So cars that typically have too much now how have a lot of oversteer.

I'm about to get on and start testing. If a majority of the people have issues with setup changes from the update I may postpone until next week. I don't want to have a situation where people are getting screwed from setup differences.
