Is there any other videos of the finals? I'm hoping to see a different angle of Saito's initiation while leading...the drift stream angle goes wacky for a second or two...I was pissed when watching I live lol.

BkS
I'm 🤬 I never got to watch it. :( I was out watching MIB:3 with the family, then was so tired I hit the sack, forgetting FD was on. :(

Anyone by any chance record the whole damn thing? Or can send me links?

It gets left on the live page until the next round replaces it :) Which is handy for me considering the final was at 3am my time  It did have all of it on there but I noticed they have cut it down to the last 10 hours now.

WOW!!! What a big sore loser crybaby JTP is, he clearly doesn't know that much from drifting.... "Oh I've never seen that in drifting"... by the sounds of it you haven't seen drifting at all then.... Welcome to the Bigger Big Leagues JTP....

I totally agree Mav. After Saito's chase (which i thought was less than spectacular due to the gap JTP created by using a somewhat unconventional line), I honestly thought he was toast. JTP had that battle in the bag, all he needed was a clean chase, nothing spectacular. But instead of hanging back on the initiation and waiting until the sweeper to close the gap, he tried to stick right on Saito's bumper, and really over-cooked it. He practically straight-lined the first transition trying to catch up, when he really didn't need to.

Saito got him with a brilliant move...one that you could argue he was setting someone up for all weekend. I think JTP assumed Saito would initiate at 80mph or more like he had been almost all weekend, and was completely caught off guard when he didn't.

I can't wait for NJ now...really hope those two battle it out again!!!

That just proves that compared to Daigo, JTP is somewhat a rookie. The guy wins a lot because he takes advantage of his massive horsepower, but at the same time he takes a lot of weird lines, lines to get away. He even spun against Dai on the last turn. JTP has never impressed me & after verbally attacking Daigo, my respect for him disappeared.

I'm sure some of you saw this car on the Pro-Am. It's Nate Hamilton's ride & it's beautiful.

Anyone know any professional drifters that use a Merkur XR4Ti (Ford Sierra) as their weapon of choice? Pics? Video?

Ready for some Wall action!!!!?

Who you guys think will take 1st? Who'll be 1st in points after today? I'm obviously saying Daigo!!

Meeting before practice today.

My Picks: Daigo, Gitten JR or Dai will be the three to beat.

And I hope Daigo and Justin run against each other again and Daigo puts him out again. Earlier in the Top 32 if they meet would be great.

Can you please post the top32? My internet's on a backup server, so I'm just about able to load gtp and a few others but not the formula d thread or anything.

Lol it's definitely back open! Today was awesome except being soaked by the rain. I'll report back Sunday when I get home. I'm taking a ton of pictures so expect a lot of pictures! Anyway tomorrow I get in the track early because of buying tickets online. So good night.

I had no idea Wall Speedway was open again. Last I heard it was closed for good.
It did close for a year, and they brought FD to Englishtown. I prefer Wall to be honest so I'm glad someone bought it again. I've been going down there for FD since 2006, and including the Etown one haha. First one I went to I was 15 now that I think about it lol. Will be there tomorrow!

Hope DMac and Mcquarrie qualified. Didn't have a chance to watch the qualifying.

Don't worry, they qualified.

I'm a rookie at watching FD, so yesterday was the first time I saw Wall Speedway...man that transition off the banking is gnarly lol.

Oh ya, and Go Daigo!!!

Edit: damn millen and that ugly Hyundai :( guess its up to Chelsea to fly the BMW flag

Sorry, but that call on McQuarrie vs. Chelsea was BS.

I agree...I think neither could finish the run, regardless of the contact between the 2 cars.

Also, anyone else think Daigo just got really really lucky against Conrad? I thought Conrad won the first battle for sure, before the OMT...

And Jr over Powers???
