Formula Gran Turismo Setup required

hey folks,

I have really bad times with the formula championship,
and never really cared about any tuning settings.
So I really dont have much idea of what to do.
My problem ist primary with breaking before corners and accrelation after and out of corners.

And as each track is different, and me having no clue where to start tweaking i count on you guys.

Maybe someone has a nice setup for me, we can talk about some kind of reward for a rocking setup.

greets

Hi! first of all forget if my writing is not so good (i´m not english)

I just got the f1 and I didn´t like eather how it was the feeling...
I haven´t made a propper set up yet but this one is ok for me for the moment:

Traction control: 5. If still skid on gas go up to max. 8 (more you will loose acceleration)
Anti skid: on (maybe in english it´s anti spin??)
I like the rest all off (active steer, ASM) because they make me loose a lot of time.

Wings:
Front: 70
Rear: 90

Gear ratios: top speed 410Km/h

transmition: differential:
Preload (initial torque): 15 (std)
Acceleration: 50
braking: 50

Suspension: (From now and on 1st value=front, 2nd value=rear):
ride height: -10, 10 mm.
springs: 15, 20 kgf/mm.
dampers:
extension (rebound): 6, 10
compression: (bump) 2, 5
stabilizer bars: 3, 7
camber: 2.7, 1.3
toe: -35, 25

brakes:
front: 8
Rear: 2

If you got imperial units system maybe you can change them on options

of course soft tyres!!

Tell me if it worked!!!

this one helped me on that harsh track Cote d'azur

my abs was all the way to 10 so i can late brake without having to worry about locking up. even still cpu were on my ass =S wasn't the best win but hey golded it dont have to worry about it. Though I did got shoved on the last corner and got knocked to 3rd, i had to use everything to get back to 1st, i think it was gods doing that the dude the shoved me spun out after up hill straight into the 2 tight s-bends.

best time a pulled off was like 1'17.xxx it was pretty crappy lap i'm sure you guys can do better

javi_R, thanks dude that worked for me.

I kept the Skid Recovery Force On, Active Steering Mild and ASM On, but other than that I used your settings. I'm about to do the race on Autodromo, but I've got Gold in all the previous races.

I think the suspension mods were important, especially for cornering - I just kept that other stuff on because I'm a bad driver :) The thing is being able to take corners at speed. I don't think you can ever be happy with the acceleration the Formula GT gets, as there is always a driver who is faster, so you have to catch them on corners. It's also a good thing there's no tire wear in that series, and the soft tires stay fresh.

Also, I totally cheated on the chicanes. :dunce:
