Did it with @Motor City Hami GT5 March 2013 posting tune (modified ride heights, estimated aero, left transmission stock but 217 mph), car very stable and much easier to drive with DS3. Judging by ranking number , participants list is shrinking rapidly for these Seasonals. What are those 2.5 mil downloaders doing?

FYI for archives: gold time is 1:41.00.

Great. So I have to deal with two of the same paint chip, which I already have btw, just because of PD's 🤬 up. :banghead: :grumpy:  Not that its a life ending deal, its just the principal of it. Pretty fed up with PD's 🤬 ups and other escapades. Patience is lost. Disc is coming out of my console until PD can pull their head out of their asses. Good luck everyone on your continued journeys with this game.
Wait, I thought I was the one with the bad attitude toward this game...........Don't hurry back

You guys already know my thoughts on this j anerk cheating from my previous post, but I hadn't actually watched his lap replay until this afternoon. My god, the guy can barely drive the car. It's pathetic. I find it extremely frustrating that something hasn't been done about this yet. In the description for the Seasonal Event it mentions that you aren't allowed to "tune" the car, so make sure you set it up perfectly to achieve a good time. So, the fact that this a-hole is hitting 295MPH is proof that he is cheating. We all know that a stock Formula GT can not reach 295MPH. Why then has his time entry not been deleted yet? What are they waiting for? More people to load up their PS3's and start Gran Turismo, go to the Seasonal Event, see a cheater in 1st place and get so pissed off that they just shut down their system.

From what I've read on :gtplanet: and elsewhere, these hackers/modders/cheaters were a huge problem on GT5. Now, I wasn't around before GT6 so I didn't experience it. But, I can imagine that it was extremely off-putting to those who are capable of competing for overall #1 time. In this case there is only 1 moron so we can easily discount him and say whoever is in #2 position is really the overall Event leader. But what happens once 10, 20 or 100 people start doing this crap? I know what's going to happen. Good, honest people are going to stop playing.

Like I mentioned in my previous post. I'm currently sitting somewhere around 2100th place, I think, so it really doesn't impact my overall sense of accomplishment much. Even if there were 100 jerks doing this stuff. But when you're someone who usually finishes in the 20th - 50th spot and you have ambitions to crack the Top 20, stuff like this isn't just discouraging it is downright demoralizing.

You can't tell me that someone who has access to the leaderboard data and the authority to do such things like remove entries hasn't been made aware of the current situation. Of course such people have. The fact that they haven't done anything yet is extremely troublesome. If they were reacting quickly and removing these invalid times immediately it would discourage others from doing the same thing. But, now that we're seeing nobody is doing anything about these dishonest entries, all it's going to do is entice other dishonest morons to learn how to do it as well so they can "win" the next Seasonal Event.

Whoever is responsible for maintaining these Seasonal Event databases really needs to get their butts in gear. Otherwise we will be seeing a snowball effect and I don't want that to happen, as I'm sure none of you do either.

If they kick the cockroach this early in the event -without knowing how to keep him out, they risk loosing face several times before this ends by him reentering. Same thing back in GT5: They didn't remove cheaters right away then either. But they did eventually remove them -and the cheaters knew that! They didn't do it to win the seasonal, but simply because they could, i think.
Mind you, i am referring to the "phase 1-cheaters"; the "dragsters" Which is what this one is.

I wonder how long it will be until time trials start to have loaner cars again.:grumpy:
Wouldn't it work to get rid of hackers if PD just set a HP weight and PP limit instead of just a PP limit?

love gt6, nearly all of the races too but this has got to be the worst race /track combo i have ever played! as soon as I finally got the time 1.40 for gold I didn't want to ever play that one again! impossible to drive it stock so a big thanks to all the tuners on this site for helping me to get gold! only on a stick/console at the moment no wheel but kudos to all the drivers getting their low times.

@zeusandy69 I dont know why you quoted me, let alone why you did it twice, but sure.

On another note, where is the tunes guys? I scrolled through this thread, and the only link I found to a tune was a GT5 tune, I'm not posting that.

And why is that?

I've already said it-is to much power for my controller and not to mention that there's no chance that this car wount drift in a corner, maybe Colin Lives in this formula!!

If you drive normal car with 550bhp let's say, without TC or any other helping aids, and you sweat like fat man in a sauna in one lap, so imagine how 900bhp feels on a controller!

I'm now whining, let's be clear, just sayin it's to much power to handle! Mybe on a wheel is not so"scary", but I'm telling you, on a corntroller is not funny at all :D

This post should not be misunderstood in any way or de-motivate other on ds3 to try their best, here, I'm just speaking my
Own opinion !

The problem with finding a tune for this car is it's such a hard car to tune , what normally works on every other car in the game will turn this car in too a uncontrollable beast , so when you hit the sweet spot and get the car doing what you want it's a closely guarded secret. Especially when your taking it up against immortal pilot in a champoinship you need every advantage you can get it took myself and @Weider weeks and weeks of testing and adjusting it just to tame it let alone get fast consistent times with it so a tune for this car will be extremely hard to come by.

This combo is fine, the tyres are fine...........You have to sit and learn how to drive the car smoothly, don't be too eager to get it going fast and don't try to snap it round the corners too much.

It's good fun when you get it right.

Woohoo.made gold today and got the new gold chrome.
other colors and the old replaced colors, are more retro oldtimer colors, not my style.
This one , i'm happy to have.
I used @RyanRacer 's tune. Look in the first post (OP) i used that link.
Someone stated, that he/she got gold with that tune with a DS3.
The only thing i had to add was 15kg at -40 to reduce pp, ( in that tune is oilchange used)
I'm not good, Just made gold.

But i read what @GTP_CargoRatt posted, then i see what @Ninners posted.
Fired up GT6, went to online stats, loaded the JDM-D1-DRIFTING replay and :odd::eek::ill::irked::mad:
No way, that car sounded as the Tajima E-RUNNER or a hybrid car with electro motors.

I don't know which kind of black magic you used, but that tune is simply amazing.
Even a scrub like me managed a 1.33,667 on his first try :D

btw I only did 800km on my FGT, yet it says my body rigidity is decreasing?

I only had time for five laps with the FGT at Silverstone for this event. I am not near my computer, but here is the DS3 tune that I banged together over those five laps. It was enough to get me gold in the event with some careful throttle control. If I get game playing time tonight, I will build a G27 wheel tune for this event.

Oil change
20 kg ballast @ 0 position

Ride Height 42/45
Springs 17.50/17.00
Damper Compression 7/5
Damper Extension 8/8
ARB 7/5
Camber 0.0/0.0
Toe +0.05/+0.20
Brake balance 5/4 I found that with higher brake balance I was slowing the car more than it needed to be slowed.

LSD 11/10/25 This is the part of the tune that is really making the FGT work. Spend time optimizing the LSD.

Downforce 700/900
Ballast 20 kg @ 0

Transmission
Final Drive full right 5.500
Top Speed full left 149
1st gear 6.000
2nd gear 4.300
3rd gear 3.285
4th gear 2.655
5th gear 2.230
6th gear 1.935
7th gear full right 1.725

I dunno, man... sounds like a lot of work. :embarrassed:

This is a great TT but frustrating.. I feel like it's so easy, I know where I'm losing all the time, but I can't quite put it all together..

1:32.005.. 1:31.000 will be my aim

Thanks mate, I'm glad it helped

Yes, you do have to restore body rigidity at least after every 300 km. 800 is too much:nervous:

Wow that haxor vid is actual the number one ??
OMG hacking for fun is one side but doing it in a Competitive Lounge/Lobby/or even Time-Trial is another story and plainly anoying/stupid etc.

Hope PD fixes this issue rather fastly 👍
