I'm running that series right now. I've found that if I pit with 10 laps to go, Bob will have plenty of time to pass his way back into the lead. Only track that hasn't worked on is Cote D Azur

It's actually a lot better strategy-wise, if you pit anyway about 2/3 through.

That way you may fall back to the back of the pack, but at that stage you get a massive advantage in lap times (a couple of seconds), because the AI stays out until the tyres are completely gone, so it's very easy for Bob to overtake the whole field again. (or rush into the lead when the others have to pit as well)

For all of the races, except Monaco, it's best to pit about 2/3 of the way through, that way you'll have way better tires than the competition.

In my FGT races, Bob always ran low on fuel before the tires were even close to being worn. My strategy was to simply try and get him to the lead and then pull away from the pack to give him some breathing room to pit later on. Your Bob will pit when fuel runs low.

If Bob is having trouble passing then consider tuning the FGT's suspension and LSD.
