Anyway, congrats Famine. :cheers: Make another 10,000 posts and I'll be amazed. Yeah, 40,000 is a tidy number and all, but... 50,000 is tidier because it's exactly half of the next milestone... 100,000. ;) Or in 2,000 posts your post count (minus the zeros) would be the meaning of life, so the truth could possibly be revealed. :P
 
It's too bad Famine revealed the reasoning behind the Indigo. I guess that was kind of a litmus test for old timers vs newbies. Could've made a neat venn diagram.

Congrats, Famine! I've never seen ANY OTHER USER ON ANY OTHER FORUM post as much as 40,000. This is something. I, however, have a very long way to go :indiff:
 
I found out, that on another forum where I used to lurk, the number 1 poster has .....
wait for it.... here it comes..... 459758 (average 111 per day) posts. Since December 3rd 2000.

Sorry to ruin the party. :lol:

I wonder how long I'll take to make it past 10000. And there's no way I'm gonna make every single post one color. I easily could though. And I post a lot in the brony thread.

It's only a matter of time before I actually make so many posts.

Congratulations Famine!

The sacrifice you make & effort you put into gtplanet is simply amazing. When you are dealing with us, the members, I don't think I've ever seen you take a shortcut(though I've never raced with you in "GT", maybe you do take shortcuts on track? lol). You always handle it, even if it was something to do with foolish antics by some immature spammer.

It also goes without saying that you are one of the brightest people we've ever encountered, even if just online. You always have that teacher/educator in you, and we sure benefit from it. I know I have, and for years.

To be honest, I was little bit shocked when it got to that "giving up" part. As Danoff suggested , if you ever give up, make sure you still stay a postwhore. :D:tup:
 
The Indigo bit doesn't surprise me. Curious what you, Famine, think about light on dark for text as well... seems to be a mixed topic.

Also, that is a disgusting amount of posts and it scares and confuses me. Because very rarely are they "Omnis' style" posts :P

Consistency in font color* is either the hobgoblin of small minds, or the curse of really large ones. Perhaps Famine is really Chtulu, and he writes in elder-god blood.

Makes more sense than anything else.

Oh, and congratulations... 40,000 posts on one website... that has got to be a record of some kind.

Poorly writ defense of my inability to stick to one color for more than a year...

Same here, hence my uptick in recent months. At my rate, it's going to take another 29 years or so to catch Famine.

Quite. I imagine I'd probably be over the 10k mark if I included my GTF tally, but even with the PPD increase I've had since GT5's release and SM duties, I don't see myself hitting Famine's numbers for another decade.

So, roughly whenever GT6 Prologue is released :P
 
If there is a question that Famine cannot master, is it then not a question, but itself an answer?

If he wanted to stay at 40k then he could post then go back and delete some of his really old posts. Then he'd always be on 40,000. :D
