This was one of my favorite threads in the Horizon 3 section. You know the drill folks. Whether it's scoring a good deal on something that's normally super expensive, cashing out on a huge sale, or just flat-out finding the car of your dreams, feel free to drop it here so everyone can see!

I've just been selling all my Forza Edition cars. They typically just sell for the buyout price, but scoring 600,000 credits in a matter of minutes is nice. It'll make getting those castles easier.

Correct me if wrong here, but don't you get 10 FP for every purchased wheelspin? Or is it only valid one time?

You spend 10 FP on each wheelspin, and there’s no limit AFAIK.

Sold my FE Caterham (400k), Widebody MK2 GTI (90k) and drag Dart (110k) for around 580K altogether on the AH.

There was one in the AH just now... but can't you do Forzathon Live to get more FP? The car costs just 150 FP and you can get 30 FP from completing all three rounds of Forzathon Live, or 60 FP if you own Lake Lodge.

I don't have a good enough connection to do Live. It kicks me out after a while.

Doing the weekly and daily challenges will get you there. I don't do the live events either, but still cleared the GT3, the Union Jack shirt, and some wheel spins.
 
So today i bought a Porsche 550 for 60K, a Eagle Speedster for 92K, a Bentley 8 Litre for 774K, and a couple more cars.

That's enough spending for now :lol:

Here are some of my recent purchases. Pricing wise they're close to what they sell for at the Autoshow. But when you take into consideration how much was spent on the modifications for these cars I think they were great catches imho.
 
Auction House had always been one of my favourite FM features. I'm getting some great bargains at the moment on FH4. I wish we could shoot multiple garage cars in one shot as I have a real desire to start collecting same models in different colours like some kind of Brunei Sultan.
 
Has anyone seen a 22b Subaru in the auction house? I want a second one for a road race build lol
 
My Sultan of Brunei-ing is coming on nicely. Have now used the AH to cheaply amass collections of cars in their most iconic colours, plus one reserved for fully modifying. How tragic I am.
 
I managed to get the Bentley 8 litre for 851k on a buyout. Just shy of half price.
 
Oh how I missed Auction House Wars. Had to fight but bagged 6 Forza Edition cars tonight.

Am I the only one that thinks the system is ridiculous, where you have to be a legendary to sell something for 20m?
I won an Aventador FE, and I would be happy to sell it for a castle, but I can't.

I like the car, but also know somebody would gladly give me 10 million cash for it, but I'm "not allowed".

Also, buying cars to find the mastery has been completed is a real turnoff.
Not just for trying to make money off cars (simple answer: don't give 300k out for masteries) but just for the sake of personally completing them myself, because that's just how I roll.

For me, the AH is basically dead as it sits. :/
 
Had no real desire to buy these cars, but since they were worth mere pennies, I thought why not?

Loads of people have outbid me in last second though
