Hello all.

I have a somewhat odd request that I was hoping could be added to the sheet.

The brand is called Inozetek. They are a wrapping company who make wraps for cars.

There are a handful of colours that do look very nice but the one I would like to request would be called Inozetek Super Gloss Khaki Green . I managed to find what I assume is a colour code of sg012. (I am unsure whether this will be of use but I thought there's no harm in providing it if it does help)

Thanks a lot.

Ford's Rangoon red

Is this same as the AC Rangoon red or slightly different? If its different u think u can add it to the list?
I did a bit of research with the RM BASF code I added, and it turns out they are both the same colour. Being the case, I'll add that to Ford's list of colours.

Hey all, I return with a bit of a boring request (lol),

Palladium Silver (Mercedes-Benz)
The paint code is 792 according to Paint Ref, and I looked on the chart for both an English and German spelling to no avail, but if it does exist under an alternative name, apologies for not knowing.

Here are some reference images:

No rush on this one, and if it does exist once again sorry, I don't intend to waste one's time. I respect all the work you guys put into the spreadsheet :)

Hi all,

I was incredibly happy with the Inozetek colour that JaCor653 made so I was hoping for some more colours from there.

I had five colours that I would like

The colours are called
Piggy Bank SG008
Acid Green SG011
Army Green SG013
Turquoise Dream SG015
Lava Orange SG007

Thanks a lot.

Request:

bandicam 2021-04-09 07-59-02-709.jpg

Tempest Blue

It's a custom color that Tavarish is painting his McLaren once he gets it built up.

He goes into more detail of what kind of paint it is in the video if that helps. Around the 18 minute mark.

I might do these colors, but I am thinking about taking a break from this, most likely for about a week. Maybe @Mitcho2001 could take a look at them if I don't get to them?

Yeah that's completely fine , I didn't necessarily mean that you had to make them just anybody whenever they're free to do so

Trust me, there still plenty of undone colors. It's just that more of them come from less common manufacturers. The vast majority of colors from Audi, BMW, Chevrolet, Dodge, Ford, and others have all been done.

hello everyone, I would like to have if possible the shade for the following color which is the Black Rubin from volkswagen
Thanks you

Hi all, the BMW Neongelb on the current spreadsheet in my opinion is too yellow and not bright enough. I have altered it to make a more neon version if thats ok.
Metal Flake. Base: 0.19R, 1.00R, 0.97L.
Flake: 0.15R, 1.00R, 0.85L.

So I’m the one that added Neongelb to the chart. It isn’t wrong at all because the one you’re requesting and the one I did are two different colors. The one I did is a gloss paint job that was used on the BMW Z3 while the one you want is a metal flake paint and also one of those BMW Individual ones.

I can definitely get around to looking at these. I've got a number of colours which are ready to go; waiting to be posted; but it shouldn't hurt to add a few more.

I am not entirely sure what color this is exactly but I think it is British Racing Green by McLaren Special Operations. They also did BRG Carbon as well on interior.

Hello there!

I was hoping I am allowed to make a small suggestion?
(I hope so, I created an account just for this.)

I was kind of getting obsessed trying to replicate the Viridian Green that comes as a factory option on the 2012 Aston Martin Vanquish. Just couldn't get it right, until finally, I discovered this thread and it has been immensely helpful and an indispensable tool.

So thanks for your work on that front.

As to my suggestion (it's a tiny tweak really). I noticed the colour given in the spreadsheet (New Version) for AM Viridian Green is a touch too green and a touch too bright. I've gone back and forth, comparing the two colours at least a dozen times, on 4 different Astons, and eventually became convinced that I wasn't just making it up in my head.

Here's the original factory green that comes with the Vanquish vs the Viridian green given in the spreadsheet:

I'm 99% sure that the DB11 is a tad too green. The Vanquish has more blue-ish tinge to it.

And here's the Vanquish green vs the spreadsheet green after minor tweaks:

I think the tint more closely matches the original now.

So there you are. If you guys concur with me and don't mind tweaking the colour, here's the original recipe vs the new one (only the base colour [X] is adjusted):

Aston Martin - Viridian Green - Metal Flake
Original:
0.47R/1.00R/0.38 L
Adjusted: 0.51L/1.00R/0.33R

(Original spreadsheet recipe on the left, adjusted recipe on the right.)

Thank you for your consideration.

Loving your work.

It's nice that you have found this thread and the spreadsheet interesting and helpful. What you need to know is that it's best not to compare a color to the version that comes on a car in Forza. The colors that are in the spreadsheet are accurate to the real-life versions. Turn 10 and Playground Games do not put the same level of detail into their colors that we do. If I remember correctly, @ClydeYellow was the one who did Veridian Green. It is accurate to the way the color looks in real life because Clyde is very good at this.

Plus, the little thumbnail image of the car does not depict the color the same way it would appear in the sunlight in the game. The thumbnails look like they are generated using the Festival lighting, which as we've discussed in this thread, is not the best for showing colors to their full extent. I suggest you use the values as they appear in the spreadsheet, go to Bamburgh Castle, try to get the sunny lighting that I use for my pictures, and compare Clyde's Veridian Green to real-life pictures of the color. If you still think it is off, then you can present your idea to Clyde and see what he says.

Didn’t you do Viridian Green as well?

5E772BDE-3938-4950-8EAA-DF5CC71716E0.jpeg

You know, you're right. I did Viridian Green. @ClydeYellow did not. In fact, I did two versions of Viridian Green. I remember that now, and something like that seemed familiar when I made that post. I guess Viridian Green just seemed like the kind of color @ClydeYellow would have done.
I knew it was a color you previously did because I didn’t do it and I remember it already being done. That being said, as @JaCor653 has said, all the colors we do here are accurate and not based on the examples that Forza provides in game.

So basically paint all cars based on these colours, rather than in-game colours.

It's just that in my case, I really liked that particular colour on the Vanquish, as shown in the game.

Thanks for the replies gents.
