@Mitcho2001 I've got a question when it comes to setting the values. The in-game editor seems to move the slider in either direction when you press A to define the color selection, which may result in inaccuracy on my end. I know it's possible for it not to happen but I don't know the specifics.

For example, we have:

Crayon Grey
Hue: 0.50 L
Saturation: 0.01 L
Brightness: 0.74 R

For my selection to "stick" and the color to show correctly, what do I need to do with the slider right before I press "ok"? Thanks. :)

(I specifically wanted Rosso Corsa for the Abarth 695 and possibly the Fiat Dino, many thanks for your work!)

I have other requests but it depends on your workload since most are already featured in the game in some form. However, there's cars such as the 2011 Aventador and 2013 McLaren P1 which lack many of the colors in their official catalogs. The Aventador lacks Verde Ithaca and Viola Ophelia IIRC. Would it be possible for you to look into that sometime?

If it helps, Terronium's list remains useful, but there are colors which need some changes next to FM4. To my knowledge, Diamondschwarz from BMW (it's an 80s metallic black IIRC) in the old list shows up way too light in the game. Solid colors are still close, though, maybe all they need is to be tweaked into the new system.
Regarding the values switching between the first and second selections, that shouldn't really matter. Though I think the issue itself is just "there," because I have encountered it several times with paints using Metal Flake and the Two-Tone options, so there isn't a whole lot you can do about it. I'd say just get the listed values and go with that, because it is going to be annoying to get them absolutely perfect according to the sheet.

As for the missing colours, I do look into what colours are available for the cars in-game. Verde Ithaca is one of the colours I already have down, but is probably one to go over again. Still, I am more than happy to look into the catalogues for these cars.

Thank you so much :)
No worries! Happy to help out the community here! 👍

Looks good I did it in metal flake with both X and Y values the same color.

Here's one that no one requested, but I felt like doing it anyway—Tangerine Scream from the Ford Focus ST.

As of now, not yet. However, a few of the R34 colours are on my list to do before continuing through manufacturers. They're going to be a challenge to make, but they'll be done soon if all goes well!
How’s the midnight purples going? I really would love to use it on my skylines.

Is it possible if someone could remake Baltic Blue? I know there aren’t any supras in fh4 but a great colour nonetheless.

Well, I don’t know what else to say other than that looks amazing! I’ll go ahead and add that to the sheet when I get the chance.

Truth be told, it has been slow progress. However, I’ve been able to work on M.N.P. II, even though that was a big pain in the backside, and got a result I don’t actually mind. I chose to capture a game clip of the colour to make things a bit easier, but that hasn’t been uploaded to Xbox Live yet. So instead, I’ll provide the values until I get access to the clip:
Midnight Purple II

Hue: 0.61 L

Sure thing! With a lot of other colours that still need to be finalised from suggestions, I’ve been focusing more on the colours from cars already in-game. But whenever requests come in, those become my priority, so I’ll get onto that tomorrow and get back to work on those other colours before I forget: something that I do not want to do.

Thanks. Like I said months ago, I have more colors that I can add. I've just never gotten to posting them here. I promise, though, that I will.

Hi there, new to the forum. Love the work. I was wondering if someone could do the Bronze colour on the 2009 Corsa VXR Nurburgring? Thanks.

Funnily (that's not a word, is it?) enough, I actually replicated this same color a while back.

Could someone try to make the "Golf Blue" colour from Porsche?

Here you go:

After doing some research on this, I found out that the colour in question is “Avio Blue Metallic”. Unfortunately, Winter isn’t the best time to work on designs as a whole, so I’ll have to push that back to Spring.

Mate, you seriously are helping out massively here. Kinda saves me some time knowing that some colours have already been done. All I can do is praise your work.
(And to answer your question, “funnily” is indeed a word.)

Unfortunately, Winter isn’t the best time to work on designs as a whole, so I’ll have to push that back to Spring.

I 've got the same problem. I've got more colors I want to share, but the lighting is bad for working on and showcasing designs.

Thank you. I spend a lot of time in the paint booth anyway, so I figure I may as well help out. Plus, the practice of recreating real-life colors in Forza has been an interest of mine since Horizon 3.

Now that Winter has passed, I've got lots of paints to share. I'll start with these four:

What's the preset used to get the metallic colours you have in you’re spreadsheet? I noticed they require an X colour and also a Y colour.

That would be “Preset 1”, though I’d say it doesn’t really matter what it says in terms of the buttons. Just go with whatever you’re comfortable with and go from there with the colour tuning.
