@JaCor653 I normally don’t ask this, but I have a bit of a request myself
This is the McLaren Verdant Theme GT. The exterior features tri-color satin paintwork in three shades of green in a unique gradient — the result of over 430 hours of labor. The paint job, if replicated in Forza, would either be two-tone semigloss or two-tone matte. You did so good on that Salève Vert BMW paint I requested a long time ago that I thought you could do this one too :)

I'll take a look at that tomorrow. It will probably end up being somewhat similar to Salève Vert, in both color and method of replication.

I have more colors today :) Enjoy :)

@JaCor653 I notice you have Aqua Blue in the chart for Chevrolet, but the one you entered is based on the Chevrolet Monte Carlo Forza Edition. The version I'm sharing is the actual named color that comes from the 2010 Camaro and other Chevrolet/GM models :) It's different :)

Then what I'll do is move my Aqua Blue to the Forza manufacturer.

Dear everybody ! Someone to make this color ? It's Blu Ahrabian Metallic :)

I'll do this today.

Hi,
So, after using and abusing the spreadsheet, I've decided it would be nice to give back, thereby I tried to replicate this color :
100768240.jpg

More pictures available here http://www.superstreetonline.com/features/news/watch-570-hp-ac-schnitzer-m235i-acl2-revealed/

The thing is, I don't know if it's a factory color or a custom one. The only thing I know is that color is called "classic racing green" (at least that's what the article says), but that doesn't help.
Anyway, I came up with that :

Paint Type : Metal Flake
- Base : 0.24L, 0.44R, 0.35R
- Flake : 0.28L, 0.56L, 0.37R

OOYTuzB.jpg

xplkAvx.jpg

7KRqhB6.jpg

qzfxGWx.jpg

but it doesn't look quite right.
So if someone want to give it a shot, I'll be grateful.

Cheers.

Classic Racing Green (AC Schnizter)

Paint Material:
Normal (Gloss)
- Paint Color: 0.34R, 0.64L, 0.37R

Aegean Aqua (Chevrolet, General Motors, Oldsmobile)

Paint Material:
Metal Flake
- Base Color: 0.54L, 0.81R, 0.63R
- Flake Color: 0.53R, 0.65L, 0.76L

I've come up with a way to handle duplicate paint colors. Just list all associated manufacturers, and then file the paint color under all associated manufacturers in the spreadsheet.

Crimson King (Chevrolet, General Motors, Oldsmobile, Pontiac)

Paint Material:
Metal Flake
- Base Color: 0.97R, 0.82L, 0.45L
- Flake Color: 0.97R, 0.86L, 0.52R

The reference image I used for this color was a picture of a 1999 Pontiac Montana, one of the vehicles offered in this color. I used that vehicle as a reference image for one reason: my family used to own a van exactly like that in this color. I never thought about what the name of that color could have been, and I only found out last night. Naturally, I felt inclined to do the color, as I have with other colors from cars my family, friends, and I have owned.

Paint Material:
Metal Flake
- Base Color: 0.60L, 0.88R, 0.30R
- Flake Color: 0.56L, 0.76R, 0.62L

Following that idea, I came across this color, which is the same as the one on a Chevrolet Chevette my dad drove many years ago.

Paint Material:
Metal Flake
- Base Color: 0.97L, 0.91L, 0.46R
- Flake Color: 0.96R, 0.85L, 0.71R

Chrysler used this color on many vans and trucks from the 1970s to the 1990s, including a 1990 Dodge Grand Caravan that, you guessed it, my parents owned when I was younger.

**** **** **** I literally did both Sundown and Snap Orange and already had them ready to go but my significant other is playing Overwatch so I can’t do anything or upload my pictures :(:(:(

A lot of great colors either way and I love them :)

@JaCor653 I also like the duplicate manufacturers idea because a lot of colors are shared across manufactures (Toyota shares with Lexus, Nissan shares with Infiniti, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep share a ton etc.) so that way we don’t end up doing a duplicate color on accident lol

I haven't said it before, but I'll say it again. GM was doing some interesting things with paint colors in the early-to-mid 2000s. Colors like Bermuda Blue, Golden Teal, this color, and others, are honestly kind of unexpected from these manufacturers. I don't know if it's just me, but these colors seem like they should be from European or Japanese cars, not American ones.

I believe Chevrolet made all of those crazy colors in order to compete with the Japanese cars because especially in the 90s/early 2000s they were selling like hotcakes. So why not offer up some crazy colors that will really catch customers eyes? :) Also, I have more colors coming later that I'll post after I get back from shopping :)

And here's Electric Lime on a Saturn Vue lol

That's a good point. I was just adding my colors to the spreadsheet. I admit, I've been slacking with your colors. I haven't added any of you colors since the post after the Lexus color dump. I want to, and I know that you want to, but there are so many colors. I'll get on that later today and/or tomorrow. Anyway, I noticed that you had already done Laser Blue Metallic, as a Chevrolet color. You said it was from the 2001 Monte Carlo SS. However, there is a problem with that. From the research that I did, Chevrolet did not offer Laser Blue for the Monte Carlo in 2001. According to PaintRef, Laser Blue was not available on the Monte Carlo until 2005. I don't want to come right out and tell you that you are wrong. I am just saying I didn't find anything that said that Laser Blue was available on the 2001 Monte Carlo. Also, your version of the color is inaccurate. In no reference image did I see any indigo/purple color. All of the images I saw of this color looked like my version. Do you still have the reference image for that color? I have included mine below.

Well, based on the reference pictures I used at the time it is accurate. Here are the pictures I got it from:

I don’t know about you, but the first one definitely shows both indigo and purple. I made a mistake and apparently didn’t pick the *right* reference image as you have done, O Great One. Also, you’re coming off as a really rude, preachy and condescending asshole right now. If I knew how to add colors to the chart, I’d add mine myself. Sadly, I don’t, so my stuff is in limbo while your stuff gets added because you did it and have access to the chart. It must be nice to be able to do that and yet not even add mine to the chart when they’ve been done for a while now. It seems like you’re being pretty one-sided and doing what benefits you instead of everyone as a whole. This is a group effort and project, not just you. I was happy and in a good mood until you said that stuff.

I'm sorry. I'll do it first thing tomorrow. While @Mitcho2001 is busy with school, that leave me to add all of the colors. When I added your Lexus colors, it took me almost an hour and a half. I've been busy with other things in the last few days, and I haven't made the time to add you colors to the chart. I know that I could have done that, but I wanted to get colors done myself. I don't want to make it sound like I don't want to add your colors, it's just, it takes a while. I'll make time tomorrow morning, get all of you colors in the spreadsheet, and get everything updated. Going forward, I'll make sure to keep it that way. On another note, would you be interested in gaining access to the spreadsheet? I'd have to ask @Mitcho2001 about it, but I am sure he would say yes. Then, all three of us can add our colors as soon as we share them here.

I accept your apology, and I am sorry as well. I would like access to the spreadsheet because I would like to add colors when I finish them as well, that way it’s not just you two adding colors especially when I do a lot of colors at once. I want to be able to help and add my stuff to the spreadsheet so it’s not so stressful especially when you guys have other things going on right now, and I understand that.

I added my version of Laser Blue to the spreadsheet alongside your version, to be fair. Your version does match your reference images, and my version matches mine.

@MadaraxUchiha, all of your colors are in the spreadsheet. It took me an hour and fifteen minutes, but I added every single one. Except, there was one GM color, Dark Ming Blue, that you marked as being available from Lincoln as well. I double checked PaintRef to make sure nothing crazy was going on, and I was right. That color was not used by Lincoln. Because of that, I did not add it under Lincoln. I hope that makes sense.

You’re right and I don’t know why I added Lincoln on that, I must’ve read Lincoln somewhere else on Paintref but the rest of the brands for Dark Ming Blue are accurate lol

I see my little Triumph addition spurred you to add more Triumph colors ;) Great job :) It’s good to see us doing more manufacturers that aren’t getting much attention.

Someone a while ago asked for mso orion purple but i havent seen it show up in the forum and i really like the color was wondering if someone was planning on doing it but forgot to

@Mitcho2001 said he was going to do the color so I’m assuming he’s done it or will be doing it at some point, though he has other things going on in his life that keep him busy.

I have been able to get it ready before doing a few small tweaks if needed. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to get a screenshot of it, nor note the values. However I’ll be able to sort that out tomorrow and have Orion Purple finalised, @Tomcat1970.
Speaking of other things going on in life, I have university work starting again next Tuesday, so the number of colours I can create per day is going to be limited again. Though I’ll try to find as much free time as possible.
