Thanks for the update. When spring comes around later this week, I will be starting on a big project that has everything to do with this topic.
I’m curious as to what it is. Are you possibly working on an app that makes extracting colors easier or something?

No, not that big. It's just a big painting project.
Ooh... now I’m intrigued in what you have prepared.
I should be active again in the next couple of days; adding more colours to the sheet. Though I’ll get through the Festival Playlist first, which should take a day minimum. Once that’s done, then the work restarts for me.

Soul Red Metallic?

Is that a two-tone paint job or just metal flake? I’ll see what I can do but let me know what kind of paint it is :)
To me it looks like more suited for Two-Tone Polished. Colours like that would most likely be better off with that paint type as it almost looks like a candy/iridescent finish. However, if brightness becomes an issue, then Metal Flake would be the way to go. Experiment a bit with both and see what you can get from them.

Last October, a player whose gamertag is RallyzX360 made a great replica of Soul Red. I am currently looking for his post on the Forza forums, but I'm not having much luck. Tomorrow morning, I'll get the values. I have his color on a car. I'll get back to this.

*EDIT*

I am back with the color values. I had to adjust the original values slightly, since they produced a rather dull color. Anyway, thanks to RallyzX360, here it is.

Soul Red Crystal Metallic (Mazda)

Paint Type: Two-Tone Poished
- Base Color: 0.00L, 1.00R, 0.44L
- Highlight: 0.00L, 1.00R, 0.76L

This a new color or a PTS color?

Never seen one in this green

If at all possible, could you research the name of the color and provide it when you post a request? That might encourage us to your many, many requests.

Also, I know you want to use you own pictures to brag to everyone about the cars you've seen. However, most of your images don't have great lighting. When I don't have a good reference picture of a color, an I'm not told the name of the color so that I can find a good reference picture, that makes me really not want to do the color. I'm sure others feel similarly.

If you want your requests taken, please heed these messages. Otherwise, your requests will continue to be forgotten like they currently are.

You’re right one thing I should do research for manufacture color like the Macans but I’m not trying to “brag” on what colors I see or what cars I post here it’s mostly because I don’t have time to research them or the color is not one that’s on google.
Found the colors it’s Mamba green

And Miami blue which I believe is already done

My only problem is trying to figure out if a color is two-tone polished or metal flake, but other than that I have no problem trying to replicate these colors :) In pictures it’s hard to tell if a paint has metal flakes, but in person it’s so much easier especially if you’re close to a car lol I’ll see what I can do about Mamba Green. Miami Blue has been done so many times also lol

Something almost seems a bit off with that. Probably a bit too red. I did see a Mazda 3 recently in the exact same colour and it looked quite different to that. So I ended up doing Soul Red Crystal Metallic in Two-Tone Polished. I’m not saying what you’ve done is bad, but is more of a starting point in a way, if that makes sense.

I’ve tried to give Mamba Green a crack, but it’s not that easy with a combination of light and pale greens. The fact there isn’t a paint code for it yet doesn’t make it that much easier. So right now, this is more of a colour to experiment with and will most likely take some time to do.

Sorry for the delay everyone, but I've finished Mamba Green :) I found a lot of screenshots to use as references, too :)

Hey guys, i'm back with a new request. How about this Nissan GTR50

Apparently the colors are called "Liquid Kinetic Gray"and "Energetic Sigma Gold"

gtr50-1.jpg
gtr50-2.jpg

Is this even close to being possible to recreate in Forza? It's a made-up color from GT6, and for some reason, I want to recreate it in Horizon 4.

Are you guys taking requests? I have a few:

Snapper Rocks Blue Metallic (BMW)
Aventurine Red II Metallic (BMW)
Canna di Fucile Metallico (Ferrari)
Blu Aegir (Lamborghini)
Viola Pasifae (Lamborghini)
MSO Green (McLaren)
Deep Blue Pearl (VW)

I know @MadaraxUchiha made Deep Blue Pearl, but he didn't post any values, maybe still a WIP. His Mamba Green is accurate to me BTW.

I also remember someone made Turquoise Blue from McLaren MSO, but I can't recall who. I think it's on the official forums somewhere, but not sure if in the FH4 section.

Furthermore:

I know lots of metallic colors in the new chart by @Mitcho2001 have the same values for base and flake. Are these flake values just placeholders or the final versions? Not strange for this to happen, just wondered since there's so many of them.

It’s actually called ‘Viola Parsifae’ :)

@HyperSpeeder I’ll post those values for Deep Blue Pearl, sorry about that :/ I’ll find them in my notes lol

Also, sorry for the delay boys, I’m working on some Porsche PTS colors as we speak :)

I'll have a go at working on these colours tomorrow. As for the duplicate values, they are placeholders for the time being with few of them being final. I have been recently meaning to go over them again before I can consider them to be "final" like the more recent values added.

Hey guys :) I have more colors to share :D

@MadaraxUchiha Great colors all around! I was gonna request XP Green but I liked the one-off MSO Green more so I changed it to that.

Is it alright to request colors already in the game other than gloss? We no longer have the ability to move default colors to different cars so we have to recreate everything from scratch. :(

I don't have a problem with that whatsoever! Even though my main priority is working with the cars we have, I'm more than happy with this sort of request. 👍

(Apologies for the inactivity again. Been a bit busy and haven't had an ideal amount of time to continue work on this.)
