On the topic of wheel colours, is it worth having them in a separate sheet in the spreadsheet? Without having an encyclopedic knowledge of wheel brands it's pretty difficult to find them among the other 6000+ colours.

Also, Shade Green under Mazda is listed as Metal Flake but only has one set of values listed instead of two. Setting the flake to match the base looks decent, but other colours like that still explicitly have the values listed twice. There's also 'Infini III Green' listed which as far as I'm aware is Shade Green, and in the list the hue and saturation do match between the two already.

That's a fair point regarding the wheel colours, even if they are listed as a wheel manufacturer. I'll have a think about the idea and come back to that. As for Shade Green, it's not the first time that's happened; a colour with single values has been incorrectly marked with the paint type. I've searched this thread and it's come up with nothing mentioning that colour, other than your post. I don't know whether @JaCor653 or @MadaraxUchiha did that, but we'll find out. We're all human - we make mistakes here and there.

Don't worry, I'm only pointing these things out because I know you three are so diligent and careful with what you put on the list - I figured you'd prefer to know if there's anything minor to be polished up. There's certainly no urgency or expectation on my behalf.

I can also confirm that I didn't do Shade Green or Infini III Green. About the wheel colors, maybe we could add a second sheet to the spreadsheet. We could have automobile colors on one sheet and wheel colors on the other.

@JaCor653 @MadaraxUchiha In that case, I'll create a new sheet sometime this afternoon and name them respectively. Should be easy enough - just add a second sheet, rename them both and cut and paste the appropriate colours from one to the other.

The second sheet is up and ready to go with the main, vehicle colour spreadsheet. I was almost considering keeping the colours I created for the Mercedes-Benz 300SL Gullwing in the new one, considering they match the body colour. But I've left them out because they aren't exactly a "wheel colour".

It seems easier to set it out that way rather than having two completely different spreadsheets with different URLs. Just going to have to remember to put colours in their respective lists, which could take a little while to get used to.

This thread is not dead. It may seem that way, but I plan to get back to business tomorrow with the arrival of spring. @Mitcho2001 still seems to be making his color drops every couple weeks. @MadaraxUchiha said he would still try to make colors when he can, but there is an implied "no promises" part there. As far as the wheel colors, you probably didn't notice this despite thefact that it was just talked about within the last few days her in the thread, but wheel colors now have their own sheet in the Forza Color Sheet file. You can change sheets by clicking on the tabs beneath the sheet itself. You might have to go back to page 1 of this thread and re-download the file to see these changes. Please read or search the thread for discussions about changes or issues like this. Chances are someone here will have made a post about it in the thread.

@JaCor653 sums this up pretty well. We all add new colours here and to the spreadsheet whenever possible, usually on a regular basis and during anywhere outside of the Winter period in-game. While colours are still being created, it's usually until Winter has passed when they start flowing in again, due to natural lighting being notably different between then and the following week. I did mention a couple of days ago that I would make some changes to the spreadsheet regarding the colours in general; creating a spreadsheet for vehicle colours (for wraps and OEM paints) and another for wheel colours. @pez2k brought the idea up and I figured it would be easier if there are players that can't find a certain wheel brand or colour amongst the plethora of other colours. If for some reason you cannot see the new second spreadsheet at the bottom, the original link (third link) is back on Page 1.

That rim color looks exactly like the body color. It seems pointless to have a separate, duplicate color for the rims. I know there are several variations of Top Secret gold metallic, but still.

They’re not going to add it to the chart lad What we do here is replicate colors for real manufacturers. While you could argue about the Gran Turismo and Mattel colors, I wouldn’t. I’d just share your creation on the Livery forum because that’s where it’d get the most use/appreciation. It’s not a bad color, mind, it’s just not one that’ll be added to the chart. I hope you understand. If you have any other issues I’d ask @JaCor653 or @Mitcho2001 about it.

Those are definitely a lot of colours for only one of us to get through. A way to evenly split that list up between the three of us is by doing every first, second or third colour. If we do end up going that way, I don't really mind what I end up doing. Just a possible idea, but not a definite one for now.

I'm going to agree with @JaCor653 on this. He's pretty much said all that needs to be mentioned. While that is a long list, I could recognise two McLaren colours almost immediately: Helios Orange and Kyanos Blue, which is labeled Trophy Kyanos Blue. There may be some other colours that are already in which I'm not too sure about, but we'll get onto the ones which aren't amongst the others. If you are unsure if a colour has already been done, Ctrl+F (Find) is your friend for future reference. 👍

Edit: I did Porsche’s Coppa Florio Blue a long time ago. Please go through the chart and make sure you didn’t request colors that we’ve already done. Actually, quite a few of those Porsche colors I’ve already done and they’re already on the chart which leads me to believe that you didn’t check the chart first before requesting these colors The Lamborghini color Oro Adonis is also on my list of colors to do as well.

The Porsche colors I’ve done already that have been on the chart are:

Horizon Blue Metallic
Ice Blue Metallic
Lagoon Green Metallic

I’ll do some more of the Porsche colors that you’ve requested like Iris Blue and stuff but next time you request stuff please make sure they’re not already on the chart and don’t leave the guesswork to us. It’s honestly quite annoying.
