I just spent 20,000,000 credits on the Ford Capri FE and I don't care. I've always wanted this car. I have complete four of the six star cards, but I have barely done anything with Online Adventure. With over 250 million credits in my account, this was the quick and easy way to do it.

I would do the same if I could find one... theres never one available when I look :(

Horizon’s official Twitter account sent this out seven hours ago and have already cut it off after 1000 responses.

When I did it, there were three available. And the thing of it is, I probably won't use the car that much. I just wanted it so that I can say I have it. Now, I'll have it forever, and that's why I bought it.

Sad thing is I’ve found one cheaper I think it was around 7 million credits.

Why do you feel you need to add this? What difference dies it make? There is nothing I can do about it. Good for you that you found one for such a fantastic bargain. I did what I could do, and that is that.

No need to get upset. You spent the money you needed to get the car you wanted. You had 250M credits. Now you have 230M credits. It’s still well over 200M credits more than you will ever need in this game.

So 'darkest hour' has arrived!

I cannot drift at all to get the required number of points for the drift zone this week's playlist, tried the Viper GTS, the RX 7 and the Holden pickup I have and a tune on the Hoonigan truck but well short of the required points, is there any standard car that will give ne good drift points?

BMW Isetta with my AWD drift tune is what I always used for any drift zone - it's basically cheating to use a car so small, because it helps so much to stay within the scoring area :)

(If you try it, don't bother using 1st or 2nd gear).

Thank you!

What's the tune code number so I can find it in game?

Oh yeah, we have those now :D 108 613 682 (or the older, perhaps easier to get the hang of, tune is 672 324 700)

Seriously, before even setting off change up to 3rd gear  3rd and maybe 4th is all you need. Just got 88k in first attempt at the seasonal drift - using keyboard, and off the road half the time  PB is 141k (using controller).

Yeah, I'm even more useless than I thought. Managed about 60k on the seasonal drift so far with that tune, largely because I keep ending up going too far and doing a full 180 :embarrassed:

180, is that all? :D Darn thing spins like a top if it feels like it!

Blatting around the map without trying to drift (it will anyway!) might help get used to it. Or maybe try to bank some skill points on the beach. Because it's AWD, staying fully on throttle when countersteering a drift usually pulls it back towards straight rather than spinning, and vice-versa. The other option is just saying "oh well" and aim for a full 360 turn before continuing :D

For those who have the Blizzard Mountain Pack for FH3 - does it compare to the snow settings in FH4? Meaning if you didn't buy it when it was cheap does FH4 give you the same play style/vibe or is there a difference?

I knew I was never going to complete the Star Cards and managed to buy one myself as I too had well over 100 million in credits.

I did the same with the Mercury Cougar Eliminator, but have been playing through The Eliminator to try and get the Porsche 911 PO car. Then I only need the Aston Martin DB11 PO car to complete my car collection if it ever comes up again.

Blizzard Mountain had more of a penalty if you tried to drive a car without snow tires in the snow. There was noticeably less traction. The game would even ask you “Do you want to drive this car without snow tires?” FH4 didn’t seem to care one way or the other.

Blizzard Mountain also has strong emphasis on blizzard. Half the time it’s hard to see anything because it gets so intense. The worst snowfall in FH4 doesn’t come close, so the vibe is very different.

Before we all pack our bags and head to Mexico and swap out our favorite pub for a new cantina, I just want to say I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the past three years with everyone in England.
Likewise! I already did my bags and currently I'm camping out in virtual Australia. (And I also really need to clean up some backlog to make room for FH5!)

Being new too fh4, well had it 2 months or so , I have finally completed all my daily tasks, thought the drifting one with near miss was gonna be tough for me as I'm rubbish at it. But going too a big roundabout with a hoonigan escort soon sorted that out. now if i could just keep the momentum and line upto the great ridge and launch the required distance before tomorrows season change I'll be happy as i don't like the team games much.

Happy to help. You can use my build for the Audi RS 6 Avant. My username is IgnJaram and the tune is called RS6 Danger Sign. Start your run from the City Outskirts Cross Country event, as straight as possible and hit the ramp at 5th gear and 140 mph at least.

Take note if you don’t have the Forza Hub App, it’ll be delisted on September 15th so get it if possible. ;)
Feel like this needs wider posting, so that people dont miss out

Probably not too big a problem. After all, Forza Horizon 3 has been broken for months & I couldn't claim my Forza Hub rewards because the Social Tab is greyed out.
