Yes, the 2018 Mustang has been on the video, but from the wording in the WIR it will debut in FH4. The RS7 only has been a „Forza anniversary Edition“, so i didn’t count it in but you are right about the Golf and the MGs, i wasn’t really sure about them
Thanks for sharing, but I'm not even thinking about Mitsubishi. I'm thinking about the actual car count. It feels lower than it should be. 450+ is still a lot, but I just find it odd that they couldn't add more.
It is the worst that Mitsubishi is not on the car list.
But other deleted cars too made me sad. Especially Porsche.
They have deleted all my favorite Porsche. It's as if they hate me.
964, 914/6, 924GTS, 928 ... goodbye!
If space was such a concern, I wonder why they bother with duplicate cars like the 2 GRC Beetles and every single Forza Edition car, and obsolete models like having both the 2018 and 2012 Cayenne Turbos (this isn't even a case of keeping a classic, because I don't think anyone would call the 2nd gen Cayenne a classic...).
I honestly don't see the point of Forza Edition cars in this game now that you can apply stat bonuses to every single car in the game through Car Mastery. There's also no reason for the "unique" cosmetic changes and engine swaps to not be made available on the base cars.
First Toyota all-but-cuts-off every developer (seemingly bar PD), then Subaru skips out on V-Rally 4, now Mitsubishi can't do a deal with PG (and I'm guessing T10 when FM8 time rolls around)? Is the Japanese auto industry getting the old Porsche bug up its collective 🤬?
Could be a reason, actually. Blueray capacity is limited and they ~ triple the size of world textures in client by adding 4 seasons. Also, there is XOX this time and 4k resolution which needs more detailed textures. So, Day one carpack could be massive and they can return some cars in future updates.
I would like it when the houses that we can buy now are useful for some alternative activitys like drinking, smoking, make barbeque in garden(grill simulator^^), watch other drivers on racing channel TV ect..... like in gta, that would be cool.

To me it doesn't make sense. First if they lack space on the disk they could still make it a DLC. FM7 with all DLCs has 70Gb I doubt FH4 will reach 100Gb, but even then it would still be possible.
One thing nobody here has mentioned yet are all of the modded videos from Forza Horizon 3 after an incorrect build was released to the public. I wouldn’t be surprised if some manufacturers caught wind of that and started to lose faith in the developer’s ability to keep a brand’s image the way it should be.

You are right. I was just trying to say that they have enough space to put the Mitsubishi cars in the game as well. It is a licensing issue... not a space one.
From official forum: One absence from the above list is Mitsubishi. While our teams work hard to license hundreds of brands for Forza games, we can’t always align our fans’ desires with the interests of every licensor, as is the case here with Mitsubishi. As a result, we’re unable to include Mitsubishi cars in Forza Horizon 4 at this time.
FM7 already had a 30GB day one patch to add in all the content that couldn't fit on the disc. I don't think disc space is the issue. and FM7 isn't alone in modern games having massive day one patches to fill out content that couldn't fit on the disc.
If it was a space issue, then I don't see what could stop them from just placing the content they couldn't fit on a spare disc to install like with Forza Motorsport 3 & 4. I didn't complain about that then and I wouldn't complain about it now.
