Even though I absolutely hate that they don't allow you to upload it in 4K resolution, I decided to stop using the Xbox DVR and instead chose to upload directly to Forza. The screenshot feature of the Xbox works weird when you try to capture HDR images, and ends up dulling them out a bit, whereas the Forza uploader doesn't encounter that same issue. Upset that they max out at 1920x1080, but at least they look better

@ImaRobot Your post had me thinking about some of the strange differences I see in my own shots when I upload them to flickr compared to what I see when I take the shot (or view them on Xbox). I rarely use the in game save screenshot but do have have some examples of the differences.

The FM.net shots look much closer to what what I see when I originally take them (minus the 4k & HDR) compared with the DVR shots downloaded through the Xbox App.

I've noticed it for some time, even before this game came out. If you look at old DVR captures from FM7 you'll notice that the screenshot feature on Xbox washed out the watermark even. The contrast is a good bit lower, dulling out the photo a bit. Even though I always knew that, what I didn't know was how big a difference it is between FM.net and the screenshot until this week recently. This only affects 4K/HDR captures, so people that don't even have the capability in the first place are unaffected. FM.net retains what the HDR actually looks like in game.
